Rev6815 User Cleanup
If i go to service config > user cleanup and attempt to add a new username to whitelist once clicking add it just disappears the new username never makes it to the list.

Update failure
In attempting to update a node running 1.2 to the latest svn ( think 4885 ) at time of writing it keeps failing on php5-gettext, any ideas ?

RE: Snapins ftp failed error
@mp12
That seems to be the issue, removed the special characters from the password and snapins are now going on. Big thanks, will this bug get picked up from here to be fixed ? -
RE: Snapins ftp failed error
@Wayne-Workman
I could open a manual connection with any password i set. -
RE: Snapins ftp failed error
@mp12
It’s a standard password we were using with previous versions but does contain $*
I force changed it for the fog account to the same in passwd and double checked it was correct in gui but still nothing. -
Snapins ftp failed error
Hi guys
I have the latest svn installed 6303 and 6315 but while most modules in the new fog client work ok the one that does not is the snapins, i get the follwing error

RE: Latest Development FOG
Hi, i created images in svn rev 2209 i think it was, then updated to 2307 but after image is deployed the machine never restarts just sits waitinng so then i rolled back to the latest stable version 1.2.0. Now when i attempt to deploy said images down to the same machine it states cannot find sys.img.0000 (may not be exactly right) is this because images are no longer compatible in later svns ? from looking at it single disk resizable in 1.2.0 names the uploaded files as sys.img.0000 etc but doing the same in the latest svn names the uploaded files as dp1.img etc.

RE: Snapin feature
I think the problem was launching a powershell script that then launched another script as a domain admin but the credentials wont populate when it is being run from the system account just asks for password in a non visible console.
I have compiled the main powershell script as an exe which is then run via the system account and seems to be working now with the exception of not running as domain admin. -
RE: Snapin feature
Scratch that, scripts converted to exe and run by double click work perfect but if I set a snapin to run the exe it never actually starts as far as I can see.
-
RE: Snapin feature
Thanks for the reply, I just thought it would make it easier on us to do this kind of thing but I think I have a work around in the mean time using powershell to run a powershell script as admin user using cached credentials from a securestring ( saves using a 3rd party app which would get blocked via our antivirus anyway).
Testing as we speak to make sure it works across all images.
Thanks -
Snapin feature
Would it be at all possible to add the ability to launch snapins with a admin domain account ? Our registry and things get locked down via policies but I have snapins that need to import reg settings and they will only import if running script as a domain admin.

A way to hide elements of the menu in fog homepage
Hi
Previously i edited the php files to hide/exclude certain options from the web menu like hiding image management or the create new snapin button, is there anyway to do this in the current verion of fog ? 1.0.1
