I’m too having this same problem. Client machines fail to boot to FOG mneu about 40% and if they reboot the 2nd time the failure rate usually go down to 10%. However, if I hit “s” and then type “autoboot” at the prompt, they are able to get to FOG menu. I’ve spoken with our network admins and they said that nothing has changed in their switches configuration in a few years. This only happened recently when I upgraded FOG to 1.3.3 and 1.3.4. Is there anyway we can delay FOG or speed up iPXE?

Can't restore image, exit code 1. Missing partition number.
Server
- FOG Version: 1.3.4 revision 6064
- OS: 14.04.5
Client
- Service Version:
- OS: Windows 10
Description
I created Windows 10 image from scratch using 250GB HDD and selected Single Disk - Resizable when uploading this image. I was able to restore it using 250HDD or large. Whenever I restore it to a 160GB HDD, I will get “Target partition size (336MB) is smaller than source (349MB). Use option -C to disable size checking (Dangerous)” and “Image failed to restore and exited with exit code 1 (writeImage).” I’ve checked d1.fixed_size_partitions file; partition number seems to be missing. After adding “1” in that file and I was able to restore the image to a 160GB HDD. Is there a quick fix for this or should I wait until the next official release? Thank you.

RE: "List all images" takes a long time to load
@Wayne-Workman Awesome. Works like a charm. Thank you very much!!!

"List all images" takes a long time to load
Server
- FOG Version: 1.3.4 revision 6064
- OS: Ubuntu Server 14.04.5
Client
- Service Version:
- OS: Windows 7
Description
This issue has happened long ago when I was using 1.2 and did not bother ask for help since it’s not a priority task. When clicking on “List All Images”, it takes about 22 seconds for the page to load. 22 seconds is not a lot but it would be nice if I can speed it up. I have 31 images on the list. Could this be a problem? Delete all the images from the list and recreate them might help but I want to avoid going through this route if possible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advanced.

RE: LDAP Plugin
@george1421 I just changed search scope to subtree and below and magically I was able to login with domain user ID (no domain name is needed). I can’t thank you enough for your support. Thank you!!!

RE: LDAP Plugin
Thank you @george1421. I just tested it with and without user group matching but no luck. I sent you a private message of the error log. I can’t post it here. Bosses might not like it. I’m out of office today but If you need access to my server, I’m happy to do a teamviewer session tomorrow. Thanks again.

RE: LDAP Plugin
The time displays on my FOG website is wrong. It reads Wed Jan 25, 2017 18:34 pm but actual time right now is 1:32PM. How do I change it?

I’ve been pulling my hair trying to get LDAP plug in to work but unable to. I’ve followed suggestions from @iyoung post and this post. I’ve tried it on my test and production servers but got no luck. I re-installed LDAP as instructed here but it didn’t help. Attached is the screenshot of my LDAP settings. I’ve confirmed with our AD admin that these settings are correct.
Does DN has to be a full path?
Does Bind Password need to be ecrypted using FOGCrypt?
When I tried to login using AD account from fog website:
domainname\DomainuserID - No error. The login page just refreshes.
DomainUserID - I get a “invalid login” error. What am I doing wrong? Does anyone have a thorough tutorial on how to get LDAP authentication to work?
Thank you very much in advanced and apologize for the duplicate post.

RE: SVN 3877 No boot file name received
@jamesb Like Wayne Workman said, if you are using dnsmasq you need to recreate a link to your undionly.kkpxe files as undionly.0.

RE: Unable to locate /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default on fedora install to change IP address/dns etc
i think the easiest way is to change the IP in /opt/fog/.fogsettings and rerun your installation?

RE: FOG not PXE boot anymore
sorry for my 2nd and 3rd questions.
and option 66 is your FOG server IP?
Have you temporarily tried to disable firewall or iptables? -

@ch3i Sorry I do not know what you mean. I’m a total n00b to FOG.
To boot your clients on PXE, you need :
- An IP >> it’s OK
- A DHCP option that specified the TFTP server (option 66) : the ip of the server >> NOK
- A DHCP option that specified the boot file (option 67) : pxelinux.0 >> NOK
I’m curious. Did you set option 67 to pxelinux.0 or undionly.kxpe?
