Ubuntu 14.04
Version 1.3.0
There is a fog console? I use the GUI.
I recently added more disk space to my virtual fog server. I can see the additional disk space in the Linux os, but in Fog server the disk space is the same size before I added space.
Has anyone ever imaged a Surface Pro 4 with fog? Surface Pros only have one usb port. Does fog support usb Ethernet adapters in the ipxe environment?
@Quazz permission denied on all. even with sudo
@Tom-Elliott Tom after you helped me with the upgrade to 1.3.0 i cannot access the home webpage for my fog server. I keep getting the apache default page.
@Tom-Elliott OK i got real problems. the last time i looked at my fog servers screen it was looking at all the passwords for the system during the fig install. now I cannot access my fog server the ubuntu password for my user fog has been changed.
@Tom-Elliott That worked so far so good on the update. Will i have to set fog up again??? Or will everything I configured come back?
@Tom-Elliott sorry same error. here what I ran.
@sjensen I just tried restarting then rerunning the install, same error. Sorry to be such a pain in the butt.
@Tom-Elliott Did a sudo apt-get clean, that worked and tried the install again with sudo, no go. same error
@Tom-Elliott Linux must hate me or something, getting the same error as the picture with apt-get clean
I tried to download and upgrade to the new version Fog 1.3.0. I am getting 13: permission denied error. I used sudo at the start of the string, but that didn’t work.
@sjensen i tried sudo at the start of the string. I am getting could not open lock file /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (13: permission denied)
@Tom-Elliott I forgot how be the root, can you point me in the right direction?
@Tom-Elliott Will the instructions in 1. work for Ubuntu 14.04??
@Tom-Elliott Strangely enough there is not an ip address
@george1421 think i may have found the issue. I cannot ping the fog server from the command prompt on the client. I cannot ping anything on the same network from the client. I don’t get it.
