      realtek.kpxe

Ok i tried switching between legacy and uefi boot modes, i got the same exact error as the picture above. I tried the different dhcp configs and the one that seems to get me closer to cloning is undionly.kkpxe. The screen shots both show it gets stuck at the same point.
This screen shot is legacy boot with undionly.kkpxe as the dhcp config

This one is uefi boot with undionly.kkpxe as the dhcp config

@sebastian-roth The only way the pc will boot into the OS is if I have legacy boot turned on. If I have it in UEFI it does not boot into the os. I also tried changing it to uefi just to capture the image and still get the same error.

The way I am attempting to capture this image is no different than what I have done many times before. I am at a loss here.

@sebastian-roth System bios is the latest, secure boot is disabled, as far as legacy boot vs UEFI. That’s the only way the pc will boot. We do not have WDS/SCCM on our network.

    • RE: Issues with disk in an unsafe state

@wayne-workman The reason why the database backup failed is because it is trying to connect to an ip address that dhcp assigned to the server at some point during the install. http://192.168.xx.xx//fog//maintenance/backup_db.php

I’m not where to change this ip address at.

@wayne-workman I got the update installed and i am uploading an image from the Samsung laptop now. One question at the tail end of the install it did say that a backup of the database failed. Is there something I can in order to be able to backup the database? Or do i not need to worry about this?

@sebastian-roth Since my Fog server is a virtual machine do consider creating a snapshot a good back before updating Fog?

    • RE: Issues with disk in an unsafe state

@sebastian-roth I do not have fast boot enabled. When I started the clone the size of the image said it was going to be over 200gb, that was on the clone machine and in the fog server under images. I can try the clone again and send screen shots. I do not have bit locker enabled.

    • RE: Issues with disk in an unsafe state

@wayne-workman ok i spoke too soon. When I choose the not resizable option Fog wants to clone the entire disk, i do not have that much space on my Fog server. I need the image to only use the size that is used. Anything else I can try?
