Any help on this would be great. I have still not got this figured out. Thanks
@jamcdonald120 You have to add setting to the DHCP server to get fog to work… If you do not have access to this then you will not be able to use fog like Sebastian said. Look at the link he just posted.
If you do have access to the dhcp server then we might be able to help you out.
@FallingWax Can you post the link here where others will know?
@jamcdonald120 Have you got your own DHCP server on the network? Because from what you sent
/opt/fog has ‘dodhce=“y”’ and ‘bldhcp=“1”
This is showing that the fog server is handing out dhcp and not you actual DHCP server
@davidedpg10 Have you got all services turned on global? Are the all checked under FOG Configuration,
FOG System Settings
@FallingWax The node replicate every 10 min so give it some time and then check the Replication Log again please and post here
@Joe-Schmitt Since this is Ubuntu image i know this is old but i am wondering if he is needing something like this to change the host name on Ubuntu computer
https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/4510/scripts-customization-of-ubuntu-fog-service-for-ubuntu
@Omar.rodriguez Thank you for checking please upload log file when you get chance, also miss read i was thinking this was a Windows image not a Ubuntu image
@Omar.rodriguez Also make sure that in Fog Settings that ( FOG Client - Hostname Changer ) is checked.
And let us know if it is.
@FallingWax Could be cause the images is marked as protected in fog. may want to try to uncheck that. I am sure this is the issue. And the image on the node you added back are different than on the master node. They may be old images.
