We just got in 3 of these M70a and they all do the same thing
Firmware looks to be up to date
Network adapter is built in

And i have never used the FOS Linux

I am not sure what file it is using… So i change dhcp to look like

this so it will only use snponly.efi and it is still hanging on this and rebooting

Updated iPXE via instructions still not working

Funny thing is i got it to boot into fog after about 3 reboots and when i click full host reg it hangs on bzImage… 0%

All other computers iPxe boot fine BOIS or UEFI
Not sure how to do the compile script

@sebastian-roth Checked on the storage node that was giving issues and it done fine i am going to just move everything to new master SN and test

Yes one of the storage nodes is the master
But i am working on changing that as we speak and creating a new master 64bit then the others will be changed to 64 bit also

as of right now i have
server 64 bit 16.04 xubuntu not storage node
1 Ubuntu 16.04 32bit storage node master
1 Ubuntu 16.04 32bit storage node
1 ubuntu 20.04 64 bit storage node

I am going to just use the 64bit as master after i get the images all copied over, then disable the other 2 32 bit nodes, upgrade them to 64 bit and re-enable them to see if that fixes some of the issues i am having since the 1.5.9 upgrade

I am unable to image any computer since i upgrade from 1.5.7 to 1.5.9
Ubuntu 16.04


I have tried every image and i know they worked fine with 1.5.7 Because we used them last week before the upgrade.

@sebastian-roth I am wondering if it is because the image i am deploying to the Gen2 E15 was captured from a E15 Gen1 Legacy and the Gen2’s are UEFI.
Would this cause the issue? If so how can i convert the Legacy image to UEFI?

@sebastian-roth It goes all the way to fog screen and loops on Boot for hard disk option

Has anyone successfully got a image to take on a Lenovo Gen 2 E15
I can get the image to take and show done in fog but laptop will never boot to windows
I have change the Host EFI Exit Type and tried all of them

Edit: It seems like since i have upgrade from 1.5.7 to 1.5.9 none of my other desktop computers will take a image either they error out half way through ( may need to create another tread on this )

I ran 1.4.4 installer
then ran 1.5.5 installer
then ran 1.5.9 installer
and everything worked fine this time it asked me to set a password for MySql this time

@sebastian-roth Ok so i went another route this time and upgrade storage nodes with no issues but the Server i am getting this error now
I have used BLANK password and i have tried password
I am able to login to mysql with password as the password and backup DB
