      Hi George!

Thank you for your quick repsonse. I get what you are saying. I agree that I would prefere not to mess with the windows registry externally if there is another way to do things.
We don’t sysprep the systems, seems less hassle in our situation. But, the bread crumbs you mention can be picked up by any system I suppose, not just OOBE, but a snapin script for example…

But, which bread crumbs are your refering to? and how would you go about leaving that trail?

@palloquin said in Passwords, I broke 'em...:

Why can I change the ‘fog’ user’s password through the web interface if this just breaks it…

I should clairify something here - the web credentials you use to log into the web interface are not the same credential-set as the storage node’s default ‘fog’ account. These are two completely separate and independent things. The wiki article called “Password Central” explains every single password in the FOG Server, how it’s used, what it’s for, where to change it. You might look through it if you’re really interested in learning more linux-config-dark-magic-stuff

@Quazz said in GIT Update not working?:

@Joe-Schmitt It was in permissive for OP and did not work, though 😕

If it was really in permissive mode and still not working, then it’s not an issue with SELinux. That older article on CentOS 7 is incorrect.
