RE: [RC21] ERROR: Unable to get subsection
Sporadically for the next 4 hours.
I checked the DB table hosts and noticed that the column
hostPubKey
emptys every 30 minutes after the host checked in.
So for 30 minutes the hosts are fine and then the connection breaks. -
RE: [RC21] ERROR: Unable to get subsection
I rechecked the error and it was a little bit different then before. Sorry!
I now getInvalid host certificate

RE: [RC21] ERROR: Unable to get subsection
The error still shows up.
I reset the encryption on three hosts for testing and rebooted them. After 30 minutes the connection fails on all three hosts with the error seen above.
-
RE: [RC21] ERROR: Unable to get subsection
The host(s) were registered before. Will check if RC-22 fixes this error.

RE: [RC19] Snapin Replication not working
Thanks Tom!
Replication works fine again. I also deleted the snapin with ID 110 manully from the db. -
RE: [RC19] Snapin Replication not working
No one is going to slap you! Thanks for the great support. I update to RC-20.
Unfortunately I am get a new error when creating a snapin.
Snapin ID 110 is not valid
/var/log/apache2/error.log shows:

RE: [RC19] Snapin Replication not working
@Tom-Elliott
I also checked the imagereplication.log. It seems that everything is okay.I tried to start the FOGSnapinReplicator via php command.
Here is what I getsudo /usr/bin/php -q /opt/fog/service/FOGSnapinReplicator/FOGSnapinReplicator PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get() on null in /var/www/fog/lib/service/snapinreplicator.class.php:203 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/fog/lib/service/snapinreplicator.class.php(271): SnapinReplicator->_commonOutput() #1 /opt/fog/service/FOGSnapinReplicator/FOGSnapinReplicator(34): SnapinReplicator->serviceRun() #2 {main} thrown in /var/www/fog/lib/service/snapinreplicator.class.php on line 203
I removed all snapins which followed after âInstallBuildUp19â (see first fogsnapinrep.log) and everything is replicating and working again.
Every new created snapin will crash the replication. -

RE: WOL
switched to RC-14.
We tested the URL (also changed order) and the group wake-up directly in FOG. Each test was realized with three clients.
All clients woke-up! Great work @Tom-Elliott and @Wayne-Workman.Thanks a lot!
-
RE: WOL
Seems like the last client inside a group or inside the URL wakes up.
@Tom-Elliott
Running RC-12 Version 46
Tested URL with different MAC Addresses and different number of clients. We also changed the order of addresses.
Everytime we execute the URL, the last MAC in the row wakes up@Wayne-Workman
We have different size of groups. Now we tested a group with two clients and the second client in the group woke up. First one still off. -
RE: WOL
bump.
Still having the problem when trying to wake-up a group of clients. They wonât wake up.
Wake-up of a single client works. -
RE: Unsure if these settings in FOG are correct
@pencils
Do you have a folder calledtftproot
or is it just a typo and you have a foldertftpboot
?If it was a typo take a lock at these configs:
Remove the last slash in
FOG_TFTP_PXE_KERNEL_DIR
setting.
Check if the .pxe, .kpxe files in the/tftpboot
are available?
Also check if the thekernel
andboot images
are present in/var/www/fog/service/ipxe
Can you please attach a screenshot of the PXE-M0F error.
