RE: Typical TFTP problem
Are you using DNSMasq? if so there is a line where you declare the IP Address of your FOG server twice.
The setting is headed as #the boot file name.
In my case it was dhcp-boot=undionly.0,IPAddress,IPAddress
I didnt quite understand why it was delcared twice so i took one off. And whilst PXE booting it asked for the TFTP server IP address. When i put that back in it stopped asking.

Host not registered. But it is in FOG??
Server
- FOG Version: 1.3
- OS: Ubuntu 16.04
Client
- Service Version:
- OS:
Description
I follow the instructions on how to kick off an upload of an image. This is how i understand it.
- In FOG, Create and image
2.Boot client machine onto the network and do a full inventory
Once the machine has registered you go to HOST Management and click capture. which then brings up an advanced settings box. click the button. If WOL is ticked the machine boots…
So my question is when the client machine boots is there any user intervention required. Because i still have to press F12 to tell the system that it needs to boot off the LAN. This sounds wrong to me.
If I press F12, the FOG menu states client not registed, but when i tell it to register (again) it comes back as the client is already registered. It seems like an inifinte loop. So im not sure what is going wrong.
There are two settings in the Host Management screen. Host Bios Exit Type and Host EFI Exit Type. Do I need to set something on these.

RE: Default.IPXE...no such file or directory
@Tom-Elliott I had edited one conf file. But at the very start from the initial install the DIR structure wasnt correct. EG the TFTPROOT/TFTPBOOT didnt exist where is should have been?
Nothing was changed at the point of install. And i re-installed Ubuntu 16.04 and FOG 1.3 several times with the same results.

RE: Default.IPXE...no such file or directory
is the path relative. I guess i have to put the file in the folder /tftboot. But on the pxe screen its looking for the file in /IPSERVER/filename?
