You may put the high traffic groups in a group, and then through the group, enable the directory cleaner feature.

The directory cleaner feature is enabled and disabled on a per-host basis.

Here is a screen shot for the service settings on just ONE host at my house. If I wanted to disable just the directory cleaner, I could. If I wanted to enable it, I could. If I wanted to enable it on a group, I could. Please also take into account that this is for the 1.3.0 Beta (Fog Trunk). So it might look differently in 1.2.0. Anything older than 1.2.0 and you’re on your own totally and I’d recommend you update.

It’s probably OK to image while the backup is running, but you might see decreased performance in both.

IMO, leave it alone.

And, there are probably 100 different backup methods/programs/scripts you could use to backup FOG server.

what you’re seeing is actually a glitch that happens with some bios. the standard screen is blue and white. of the people who have reported the improper color issue, none of the systems have actually had any problems with functionality.

I haven’t run the installer yet, I wanted to be sure I could set it up the way I want it first. Should I be able to do it with the 1.2.0 installer version as well? Also do I need to drop the database before I run the installer?
