Trying a UP ^^
Is there a log file where I can find error message for FOGScheduler service?

Server

• FOG Version: 1.3 RC11
• OS: Ubuntu 14.04

Client

• Service Version: Client 1.3 and legacy client
• OS: Windows 7 64bits

Description

Since RC11 I have this message when trying to join a domain:
HostnameChanger ERROR: Required domain information is missing
AD password was in legacy, I passed it in “Will plaintext auto-chiffrer” and now it work.

Hello,
Here the problem, I create the scheduled task at 8:35AM (in this example deploy task):

Ok message from fog:

In scheduled tasks list it’s ok:

But the task stay in scheduled at 8:37AM:

There is nothing in Active Tasks and computer don’t deploy.

I did it, i’m in RC11 and there is no message now but cron task and delayed task still don’t work

Hello,
I’m trying to use delayed task but Fog say “Date is in the past”. Date and time is correct in Ubuntu, UTC is good in apache2/php.ini and I’ve change the UTC in FOG as said here: schedule delayed or cron task doesn’t work But still don’t work…
Any idea?

No problem with Fog, just old machine with unstable WOL.

I have deploy 100 new machines and work fine, my problem was my old HP 6005Pro…

Hello,
We have change some computers location and tried to change there name with fog, it work but it broke the approbation relation with Active Directory.
So to fix the problem we place them in workgroup manually (could we do that with fog?) then restart fog service.

Is there an option in Fog 1.3 RC10 to avoid this problem?

Hello,
I Have same problem with 1.3-RC10 (updated from last 1.2) on Ubuntu 14.04, but with Firefox I can pass trough. Here the script error message:
“Script : http://srv-image/fog/managemen…s/fog/fog.dashboard.js?ver=100:233”
I just have to click on “Stop script”. I have a proxy, could it be the problem?

Hello,
WOL work fine from my FOG server to my clients computers, it’s only with download task/multicast that I have problems. I will have to deploy about 100 computers Thursday and Friday, I’ll be back to tell if it work better with those new machines.

When I send a download task computers don’t wake up (option is check), I can wake them up with WOL task only.
I have to send a wake up task then immediately a download task, I’v tried download task then wake up task but it don’t work.

After the update of FOG (1.2 to 1.3-RC9) on Ubuntu 14.04, I have this error with multicast:

I’v tried to reboot multicast service and the server to.

Also wake Up don’t work when I send a download task but work fine when I send a wake up task.
