        I may have an error in how the data is passed, but you would not be able to run wol after the task is creates because the host is at that moment in a tasking.

                  @Lenain We prefer people to upload the logs to our forums as just a .txt file, and not link to them. This way they can be viewed in the future to help solve future issues.

                    I understand but I have 3.15Mb of logs… I’v ziped it and tried too use your “send a file” but I have the message “You do not have the necessary privileges to perform this action.”

                      @Lenain all we need are the last 100 lines or so. You can copy paste to the forums and use the triple back ticks to make it easily readable. I’m on a cell phone so I cannot extract the 7z

                          @Lenain Today, I tested the last push for RC-10 (tom made emergency adjustments).

                          I deployed an image to a host with “instant deployment” and “wol”, and as soon as I clicked the confirmation button, that computer immediately turned on.

                          So I know that image deployment WOL works in the very latest RC-10.

                          So, my suggestions to you would be to go to your fogproject git directory, and do a git pull. If there are any changes, re-run the installer and your problem will hopefully be fixed. If not and you are actually on the very latest RC-10, I’d suggest looking into the bios of the problematic host, and check that Deep Sleep is off, and LAN WOL is on.

                          You can also use 3rd party tools to test that WOL even works on your network and with that computer.

                          Using linux, you can install wakeonlan.
                          Ubuntu/Debian to install is simply apt-get install wakeonlan -y and fedora/RHEL/CentOS it would be either dnf install wakeonlan -y or yum install wakeonlan -y
                          To run the utility, it’s simply:
                          wakeonlan mac but replace mac with a mac address. You can copy/paste the MAC from fog into this command.

                          On windows, there are numerous tools you can download that will do WOL, I would suggest finding an open source one.

                          If a 3rd party tool won’t work, it could be firmware settings on the computers, or your network. I lean towards firmware settings. I have seen switches in my building that just won’t WOL - and I’m quite positive it’s just a switch configuration issue that my network team just hasn’t figured out yet.

                            Hello,
                            WOL work fine from my FOG server to my clients computers, it’s only with download task/multicast that I have problems. I will have to deploy about 100 computers Thursday and Friday, I’ll be back to tell if it work better with those new machines.

                              @Lenain it seems to have nothing to do with the systems. I’m suspecting switches are filtering udp packets potentially. One to One should work fine meaning deploy, wol, etc… To one machine should work flawlessly. However many at once might be being filtered, eg multicast to 30 systems, wol to 30 etc…
