@Sebastian-Roth That’s very possible, as we were at this school thursday doing some stuff and I didn’t have my computer with me. Two of us were using it as we went through the building registering hosts. Shouldn’t this log out after some time though ?

@Tom-Elliott log issue still exists, but I’m currently trying to capture image from VM to test…they always take waaay longer from VM.

      UPDATE
problem is still present near the end of upload. No image under /images,and /images/dev has new item with corresponding time.

    • Unable to upload image...SVN 5495

Cannot upload image from VM which I used just a few days ago…Now it hangs around 92-96% and never finishes, all the while the rate continues to drop like it loses connection, but that’s not the case. It is not creating the image folder correctly as it’s not listed under /images, but GUI shows the image exists (with size and all), but there is an entry under /images/dev that (time wise) reflects attempted upload.

Apache error log shows the following repeatedly

@Tom-Elliott I deleted host, manually re-created and bam, works flawlessly, it has to have something to do with the database. Could I delete all tasks and snapin tasks in database possibly to “clean” it up ? I’m not worried about keeping the past “logs” of tasking or snapins at all. I just wan’t to keep groups and I can export hosts seperately. I’m familiar enough now to get it back up and running with plugins and such.

    • RE: SVN 5481 bzimage32 not loading

@Tom-Elliott I hadn’t changed any setting on this machine other than unchecking the "join domain after imaging"section, as my unattend, renames and domains. I did however have an issue with getting this machine to go through without timing out, with undionly.kpxe. It did “task” the re-image after not going through completely, and I tried removing the tasked item a couple times. That’s why I thought it might be something to do with a bad taskID or something like that. It’s the exact same error msg I was getting when I created the other thread about bzimage not loading correctly.

This is a machine that just yesterday worked fine when imaging, but now gives this error

      0_1448330793260_upload-02c2d2e6-dda0-4b7b-abde-f7ee0fe41d0d

I let the machine boot without pxe, it then restarted to complete imaging, but came to this.

@Tom-Elliott Didn’t have “join domain after image task” checked under host, and apparently didn’t allow enough reboots ( 2 by fogservice) for it to re-domain itself with new name. **Also had to make sure the gpo package (which I use to push client) was NOT set to “uninstall package when no longer managed”.

@Jbob does every host need the correct individual OU assignment to be removed correctly, or does it perform a “search through AD” ?

@Jbob Interact with AD, the client successfully renames the host, but AD still lists it as the original hostname. It literally does not remove hostname from AD and create new host within AD. I’ve only tried this with the OU left blanked hoping the host would be removed and then re-added in the default “computers” OU
