@Sebastian-Roth This is what I am seeing on my DHCP server every time a client boots to PXE then to Windows.

DHCP Issue upgrading beyond Fog 1.2
I had 7 Fog servers running version 1.2 and a DHCP server on windows 2008 at each site with no issues. I currently upgraded 2 sites to SVN 5844 & 5698 but now when our clients PXE Boot at either SVN site there are now two entries in our DHCP server. One is the standard Unique ID and Name of the computer (From Windows) and the other entry is with a different IP address, no name, and 32 character Unique ID (From iPXE). If I remove the Options 66 & 67 from our DHCP server the entries are normal so I believe the issue is somehow related to Fog/PXE. I really don’t want to have to roll my Fog servers back to 1.2 so any help would be welcome.
Thanks,

RE: v5746 svn Downloading inits, kernels, and the fog client Failed!
Never mind, apparently the guy that was told to make the changes only did it for one of our sites and not all seven. sorry for wasting your guys’ time.
This issue is resolved now.

Yes but the VLAN that our servers are on are wide open. I already spoke to our ISP.

v5746 svn Downloading inits, kernels, and the fog client Failed!
I upgraded one of my fog servers a week ago and everything was working and setup great. Now I am trying to upgrade the two storage nodes that were connected to that fog server and I am getting the error above. I have even tried copying the install folder that worked from the Fog server to the two storage nodes with no luck. One node I just tried upgrading by running the installer and the other node was a fresh install of Ubuntu 14 then running the installer. Both installs failed when it got to the inits, kernels, and fog client install.
Thanks,

RE: Adding needed repository Failed!
@Wayne-Workman Thanks, I needed to change the time under General Settings. Thanks again! I think I’m golden now.
Peace!

RE: Adding needed repository Failed!
White listing the Fog server and Storage Nodes fixed the problem. Everything is installing correctly now. Thank you so much!!!
The only thing I am noticing now is that the time stamps on my Replicator Logs are incorrect. Is that an easy fix?
Thanks,

@george1421 Got ya, I will see if we can do that. Thanks!

RE: Adding needed repository Failed!
@george1421 Thanks for the suggestions, I will speak with our ISP about white listing. I’ll let you know what I turn up.

RE: Adding needed repository Failed!
My network admin suggested that our content filter may be screwing with something in the script if it’s trying to access a site out on the web. Our filter system is manually configured for each site so that may explain why I can run the install.sh file at every site with no problems except at this one

@Tom-Elliott After running “sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:ondrej/php5-5.6” I get this message:

Adding needed repository Failed!
Hello!
I am currently trying to install the latest svn version of fog but every time I run the installer it says “adding needed repository failed”. The weird part is, if I take the fog server to one of my other locations the install runs through without a problem. I am just not able to get the fresh install/upgrade to work at the one site. Also, we do not use a proxy at any of our sites. Any help would be much appreciated.

RE: Node Replication Issue
@Wayne-Workman All of the other buildings where I am currently using nodes it lists the username and password of the node once it completes. Then I just copy paste the password into the Web UI for the node and everything works. Not sure why all the installs are not giving me the user and pass after install completion.

RE: Node Replication Issue
@Wayne-Workman The mater node is the fog server and all nodes are in the same storage group that is the default fog server group.

Node Replication Issue
I am running a fog server on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with Fog 1.2.0 installed, and everything works great. I needed to setup 4 Storage Nodes in each of our switch closets and they are also running 12.04 and Fog 1.2.0. The problem is after installing the Nodes there is no Username and Password listed once the Node install completes, both fields are blank. So then I tried to input the username and password in the .fogsettings file and rerun the installer but still not syncing anything. If i check the Log it is reporting “Mirror: Login failed: 530 Login incorrect”. All the passwords are correct under storage management and fog settings UI on the main fog server.
I have 6 other buildings that have the same setup any they are not having this problem. I’m currently out of ideas, any help would be welcome.
Thanks,
Kris
Wait… why are you using Ubuntu 10.04?!
https://help.ubuntu.com/lts/serverguide/installing-upgrading.html
Or you could use this as an opportunity to go to a different Distro all together. The problem is it looks like mysqlnd was never released for 10.04.
I never even thought of upgrading the OS  . I will give that a try and let you know if I’m still having issues.

RE: SVN 3087 and above hand during install
I remember this being an issue with a few revisions, but I have 3365 installed just fine. Let me poke about and see if I can find a fix though.
Granted I am running Debian and not Ubuntu, but its like comparing apples and pears, so close enough.
EDIT: Try sudo apt-get -f install . Then tell me the output.
All 0’s on the output.
