@Tom-Elliott Awesome response time! I’ll give that a try now, thank you!
@george1421 I just did an upgrade from a fresh install of RC-14 to RC-15 and I am still seeing this issue. I have tried turning “No Menu” on, same issue. I have tried all the different boot options under PXE Menu, same issue. The only workaround that works for me is setting the PXE Menu to “Hide” and then it blinks past the screen and boots the hard drive. I did not see this happening in RC-13, it started for me when I upgraded to RC-14, and doing a fresh install of RC-14. I just upgraded to RC-15 from RC-14 hoping it would fix it after reading your post. Mine does this for both registered and unregistered hosts, any recommendations?
Ubuntu 16.04
Fog Running Version 1.3.0-RC-15 upgraded from a fresh install of RC-14
The RC-15 works now for me when trying to import hosts. I am seeing the same issue as posted here though.
In any case my submitted issue will be resolved in the RC-15 release.
Thank you all for the assistance.
@Wayne-Workman Cool, I’m just glad a fix was found, has been driving me nuts! lol
Do you have an idea when RC-15 will go live?
Thanks for all your help on this guys, I really appreciate all that hard work everyone puts into helping us out!
I ran the two commands and then ran the installer. Afterwards I rebooted the server and then tried to import the hosts again with the same result.

I will give those commands a try in the next hour and let you know the outcome.
@Wayne-Workman It’s the same file format I have used for my other fog servers. I have even tried using a file from another site that I know works.
I updated to RC-14, tried to import my hosts, its still showing 0 across the board. I then reinstalled Ubuntu, installed Fog RC-14, imported my hosts, 0 were imported.
@Wayne-Workman Here is the Log from one of the clients, I had to manully change the Host Name and add it to the domain. I changed the server IP and the MAC of the client for security reasons.

@Wayne-Workman Well I completely reinstalled Ubuntu 16.04 and then installed Fog 1.3.0 RC11, imported my hosts, and all my clients are using the legacy service pointing to the IP Address of the fog server. would needing to move the SSL folder still apply?
I just wanted to give you an update. I ended up getting a copy of 1.3.0 RC11 and installing it. I was able to import my host list correctly now but now my clients are not changing their host names or adding to the domain. I copied all the settings from another fog server running the same software version and it works on that system. any ideas? Thanks!
@Wayne-Workman its not showing anthing, just flashes the screen and shows
Total Rows 0
Successful Hosts 0
Failed Hosts 0
Errors
Doing the process you gave me did not change anything. It is still not importing hosts.
I setup a new fog server and I am not able to import hosts. How do I fix this issue as I have over 200 hosts to add or how do I download RC-11 as it worked importing hosts.
Thanks
Yes, sorry, we are on Fog version 1.2. Yes, I want to display the “Full Inventory and Registration” task for all Hosts registered or otherwise in the PXE menu.
Our naming convention is Buildingname-room-systemnumber,
example would be ZES-204-S-01
I have two questions,
Is there a way to add an option in the PXE menu so when I register a new computer I can just type in the host name and it then auto choose yes on add to domain and everything else? Kinda like Quick Register but without the automatic Host name generation. All of our computers use the same image and everything. The only thing that is different it the hosts have to follow our naming schema so we know where they are. I asked this because I have thousands of computers to setup and the only thing I need to change is the Host name, everything else can be static.
Is there a way I can add full inventory back onto the PXE Menu so I can run an inventory task on a computer that is already registered in Fog rather than going into the Web GUI and scheduling the task? I believe this task was available in .32 put it is no longer there if the computer in already registered in Fog.
I have looked through the Forums and I am unable to find what I am looking for or just may have missed it. I am in a bit of a time crunch so any help would be fantastic!
Thanks and you guys are awesome!!!
