RE: Fog_0.32 on Ubuntu 12.04
be sure to read this tutorial also http://fogproject.org/forum/threads/windows-7-deployment-fog-sad2-driver-tool.380/
in terms of the kernel issue, you can update the kernel through the FOG Web Interface. Go to the ‘Other Information’ page and on the right select Kernel Updates.
try 3.3.3 core, also try the one i posted above 3.4 core (by copying it to tftpboot/fog/kernel and name it: bzImage )
On the Host Management page leave the Host Kernel section blank and it will default to whatever kernel is bzImage

RE: Fog_0.32 on Ubuntu 12.04
give this kernel a shot its 3.4 core, provided by astrouga

RE: Anyone have a 3.4 kernel to hand?
That is good news. I’m going to build a Kitchen-Sink 34 kernel as well. Hopefully I’ll get a chance this week.
does it not work on all you equipment? what does the KS have extra, just more drivers?
-
RE: Anyone have a 3.4 kernel to hand?
yeah, it works with all my kit (9 diff machines)
-
RE: Deployment Freezes
have you updated to a different kernel and tried using that?
here is one built on the most recent kernel release from another user http://www.filedropper.com/bzimage34
check the two posts below:

http://fogproject.org/forum/threads/failed-to-connect-to-database-server-will-try-again-in-next-iteration.232/#post-1042After installing FOG I Installed Webadmin, I logged into the mysql section created a new user (fogadmin) and password, giving this account full permission. I then edited the MYSQL info in /var/www/fog/commons/config.php + /opt/fog/service/etc/config.php. to match.

-
RE: PXE issues
Sounds like you need to modify your existing DHCP server so it can point to your FOG server:
This should do the trick

RE: FOG Does not Restore the 100MB Partition for Windows 7 Image
I have always used 100mb + rest of disk (2 partitions) and set image to: Windows 7 | Single Partition (ntfs Resizable)

RE: Unable to upload a Windows 7 image from a SSD
If you do try the .33 beta please provide feedback on your experience/thoughts to the thread above

RE: Hp Probook 6560b

RE: Windows 7 and SetupComplete.cmd
This solution would be even better!
yeah its in the DP_Install_Tool.txt -
RE: Windows 7 and SetupComplete.cmd
the script in the original guide has been updated to use Net Stop FOG Service at the beginning and NET Start FOG Service are you using that scipt? that eliminates the issue of the fog client restarting the pc

RE: Add Image size in Image Management
don’t know how feasible it is but would also be good if it stored partition info, ie: Image 1 on server is 27gb, when deployed it is 100mb + 45gb of data
