Thanks for everyones help. I decided to try it on an actual device and add the -Wait at the end and that worked. @jflippen your way worked as well. For what ever reason my VM was would both say complete right after the start of script. When I attempted to run it on a physical PC it worked without any issues and completed with the delays.

I had to go in and manually delete each unused version. After that if fixed my issue. I was able to successfully update fog.

      Thanks for your help.

Just throwing this out there, might absolutely not be related and me just missunderstanding whats actually happening here.

I had problems Imaging a computer at point when switching from a hdd machine as image-source to an ssd.

I had to change the host primary disk to the correct one - I think from sda to sda2 or something along those lines - for this to work.

Rereading again I suppose this is in another direction, but just in case.

@breit said in Expanded Virtual Disk but FOG doesn’t see the change:

Ubuntu sees it just fine but I’m not able to get FOG to see the newly added space.

What do you mean by “Ubuntu sees it”? We need more details to help. So far you haven’t told us anything about what steps you made (details!) to expand virtual disk, LVM, partition, filesystem and how your setup looks like.

@george1421 said in FOG MENU FILE:

@breit The boot.php script builds the iPXE menu on the fly based on what the client is asking, the state of knowledge about the clinet, and what the client is. There is no static file that can be changed. If you want to change the iPXE menu you can

Work within the frame work the developers have provided with the iPXE menu configuration in the FOG Settings. Write your own plugin to alter and hook into the boot menu creation. Hack the php code to make the boot.php page create things the way you want.

Each has its drawback and advantages, but beyond step 1 you add quite a bit of complexity to your task.

Thanks for the Info and all your help!
