@Tom-Elliott That fixed the apache2 issue, now when updating it says “Stopping Web Service… Failed!” and stops there.

RE: Fog Cannot Register Host and Blank Screen on Image Startup
@Wayne-Workman My password problem is fixed. Before I restarted I updated apache2 and php5 and there was a compatibility problem between the 2 and apache2 will not run.

RE: Fog Cannot Register Host and Blank Screen on Image Startup
@Wayne-Workman It says my password is the same one I have always been using but it’s no longer working.

RE: Fog Cannot Register Host and Blank Screen on Image Startup
@Wayne-Workman I can’t. The password I used to get into the machine is no longer working. I did not change it

RE: Fog Cannot Register Host and Blank Screen on Image Startup
@Wayne-Workman Installing it I ran into an issue that said libapache2-mod-php5 Failed! I followed the link on updating apache2 and php5 and then the install was going. I restarted my machine because the apache2 server was not working so I couldn’t get into the web server to update the database and now I cannot get logged in with my username and password to the machine.

Fog Cannot Register Host and Blank Screen on Image Startup
A few days ago I tried to image a set of new Dell Latitude E5570 laptops we got. They didn’t want to register and I got a fast TSC calibration error. I read through the forums and found the linked page and updated the kernel as instructed. The fast TSC error went away but I can still not image or register a computer to fog. Even machines that we previously had done. I was reading a bit more and someone suggested the TFTP service was timing out so I restarted the server and checked the service to find it running normally. The GUI still works just not imaging. If anyone could give me an idea to try next that would be great.

How Often Does the Fog Master Node Replicate?
Just a question I have. Also is their a way to speed it up or even force it?

RE: Fog Storage Node is Unable to Connect
@Wayne-Workman I have. I can open into ftp on any device to the one node but not the node or server. As far as I can tell all of the config files match.

RE: I Cannot get FTP Services to Run
@Wayne-Workman I have and triple checked it. I know my etc/fog/.fogsettings was different on one of the servers but that shouldn’t block an ftp server from starting. I’ll take a screen shot of all my config settings

I Cannot get FTP Services to Run
I am running Ubuntu 12.04 with fog. On one of my storage nodes I am able to get FTP services to work but on the server and Node #2 I cannot. I have copied the config files listed in the fog wiki but not luck. It says the service is running but when I go to check (ftp://X.X.X.X) I get nothing. Any Advice? Thanks!

RE: Fog Storage Node is Unable to Connect
@Joseph-Hales Ftp is running on one storage node but not the other or the server. I am looking at what I did to get one to work but not the others. I’ll keep tinkering. Thank you so much for all your help

RE: Fog Storage Node is Unable to Connect
@Joseph-Hales I still get the error saying that the connection is refused.

RE: Fog Storage Node is Unable to Connect
@Joseph-Hales Firewall is disabled. I was thinking and when I set if up I used a different MySQL username and password. Let me try to change it and I’ll let you know what happens

RE: Fog Storage Node is Unable to Connect
@Joseph-Hales When I try to connect using “ftp 10.58.X.X” I get an error saying connection refused. My ftp config matches that in the fog setup wiki

RE: Fog Storage Node is Unable to Connect
@Tom-Elliott I added that line on both the server and node but still no luck.

RE: Fog Storage Node is Unable to Connect
I’m still getting the same error. I didn’t add the seccomp_sandbox=NO line to that config file because the main server worked without adding it. Do you think I should add that line to the main server as well?
