@Tom-Elliott I added that line on both the server and node but still no luck.

And you have no errors pinging or running ftp commands on the storage node from the main fog server?

      RTFM

@Joseph-Hales When I try to connect using “ftp 10.58.X.X” I get an error saying connection refused. My ftp config matches that in the fog setup wiki

Check and make sure firewall is disabled?

@Joseph-Hales Firewall is disabled. I was thinking and when I set if up I used a different MySQL username and password. Let me try to change it and I’ll let you know what happens

@Joseph-Hales I still get the error saying that the connection is refused.

If your ftp connection is refused then what you have is a firewall, connectivity issue, or the service is not running you need to go back to this https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Troubleshoot_FTP until ftp is working.

                RTFM

@Joseph-Hales Ftp is running on one storage node but not the other or the server. I am looking at what I did to get one to work but not the others. I’ll keep tinkering. Thank you so much for all your help

@Atton Is the storage node running fog 1.2.0 ?

SSH into the storage node and try to FTP into it from itself. Try it’s IP first, if that doesn’t work then try 127.0.0.1.

Have you verified that FTP is running on the storage node?

@Wayne-Workman I have. I can open into ftp on any device to the one node but not the node or server. As far as I can tell all of the config files match.
