As seen above, after updating both my main FOG server and the storage node the version information disappeared.

I have tried deleting and readding the storage node to no avail.
I have also tried reinstalling the update on both servers.
Even tried moving the SSL folder back to the default directory on the storage node and reinstalling with the recreate CA and keys options.
    Also tried rebooting both servers.

Not sure what if anything I did wrong, it was working fine before the update.

Have you tried the FogApi powershell module? It's pretty cool IMHO

Additionally, and this is probably related, since updating today the web gui has been having loading troubles.

If you refresh the page once the page is fully installed does it work better?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@Tom-Elliott I removed the storage node and rebooted the server and it seems to have fixed the loading issue. But I kinda need the storage node.

@Arrowhead-IT You shouldn’t have to remove the storage node.

@Tom-Elliott I agree, but it was the only thing that made a difference.

@Arrowhead-IT I’m not seeing any issues with the first node. It was only a problem on the ‘Snode’ system.

@Tom-Elliott Yes, I’m pretty sure that’s the case. I tried copying the SSL files from the main server to the storage node so they would be the same, but that didn’t work. What should I do to fix this? The storage node doesn’t currently have anything the main server doesn’t have so I can start it over if I need to.

@Tom-Elliott Did anything change on the installation of storage nodes in the recent updates per chance? I didn’t see anything in the committs but I didn’t look too closely

Needed to not use root as msqluser for storage node.
Set it back to fogstorage with password from the fog webgui fog config →fog settings → storage node settings (something like that)
Put that in the storage node servers /opt/fog/.fogsettings and redid the install again. All is well again
