After updating my FOG server SVN (currently on 4728) my auto-join for Active Directory is not working. Any ideas out there?

What does the log file say on the client?

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Sorry, but can you assist in helping me find it on the client side? Thanks

There’s two things that jump out at me. First is why is the legacy client trying to Download the fog servers ca? Did you update the client? The second thing that jumps out at me is its looking for the fog server with a dnsname of fog-server, is this on purpose?

You could try to uninstall the client, and then reinstall using the IP of the fog server.

From my experience, when you see “hello fog client” in the logs for the legacy client, the image is ready to be uploaded. Sometimes it takes a few reboots for this to show up.

Also - try setting the FOG Service on the image to “delayed start” - that’s helped me out heaps.

After the SVN update, there is now a new option for placing a plain-text password that will auto-encrypt. The problem was, my encrypted password before the update was placed in the new plain-text field. I just repopulated a new encrypted PW, placed it in the legacy field and that did the trick.

                    Cheers!
