Debian 8 - Setting up and starting DHCP Server ... failed
-
Hey,
I have tried to install fog on debian 8 a few weeks ago and there I get the error
Setting up and starting DHCP Server ... failed
Tested current revision (3824) and have still the same problem. Current workaround is to comment out the line
configureDHCP
in filebin/installfog.sh
Grettings,

My guess is isc-dhcp-server still needs to be started from init.d which I’m not using with systemctl commands. This is simply a guess of mine.
-
Also… the GIT repo is at >4201… isn’t the SVN still getting rebuilt from Sourceforge’s general fail?
-
Oh interesting. I used the link from the wiki
https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/SVN
-
@Albatros Is your network subnetted?
-
@need2 svn is back up and running properly. I used to use the svn version for the fog version but when the fail occurred I transitioned to use git commits as the version.
-
Strange, I see still rev
3827
onhttps://svn.code.sf.net/p/freeghost/code/trunk/
-
@Albatros Correct.
The Version of SVN is 3827, the Version in the cloud is different.
