Print manager doesn't work for new computers
-
Can you verify that you can deploy a printer to the older computers still?
perhaps delete one of the old hosts from the FOG DB and then re-register, re-image, and re-deploy printer?
Just to confirm if the problem is FOG or something with your image on the new computers.

I try it tomorrow, thanks…

Oh, I’m thinking, could it be do to bzimage file ?
I update them from source forge when I receive dell optiplex… -
I noticed that with older bzimage (official kernels on web managameent Fog 1.2), some computers work with snapins and printers (both or nothing : if snapinf work, printers work)
With latest bzimage on sourceforge, no snipin and no printers worked… -
@Matthieu-Jacquart Did you buy Opti 3020 or 3020M? The new “Micro” forms are actually a different generation. The 3020 SFF and M are do not have the same hardware as eachother, so if you have a system-dependent image pre-existing for the 3020, it will not work.
Our 9010 image worked with the 3020M. And for two days I tried to troubleshoot it hanging when initiating into PXE. I thought it was hanging, then just as I thought about smashing something, it started imaging.
I was wondering if you bought the M too, and if so - did you experience this? Or was it just me?

Hi
we bought 3020 SFF.
and I used previous image from older computer with different configuration, just to add new drivers and everythinf works fine… execpt snapins and printers…
It seems to be better with last official kernel rather than the new unofficial 4.x kernel. Some of computers work now for snapin and printers but not all, and I don’t know why…

Hi,
Some models work, and other not ? Or in the same model you have some issue ?
Regards,
Ch3i. -
same model, around a half works properly, in the same group with same image…
I become crazy, try to test with new SVN and new client tomorrow ! -
@Matthieu-Jacquart Good luck
-
@Matthieu-Jacquart the bzImage file has absolutely nothing to do with how snapins, printers, or the rest of the client’s operations work
