Now I remember why I don’t change things on Friday

If I run a task, iPXE stops at /init.xz… ok

I’m using undionly.kkpxe because it’s the only file compatible with all of our hardware.

I hope there’s a log somewhere that you can read.

      Debian Jessie
      Intel Xeon 5130
      2GB RAM

If you ever need it, you know…

Maybe, you can try undionly.kpxe now?

I believe the latest ipxe files have more support that should work with all your systems too, though I’m not 100% sure.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Undionly.kpxe does NOT work for us. And the init is still getting stuck.

What machines are you having difficulty with?

I guess I’m not understanding the init.xz being stuck. While I know what you’re saying, is this “stuck” a forever lasting thing (5 minutes or more) or have you not waiting that long to find out?

The problem with undionly.kpxe is one model of machine we have (With an ASUS M4A78L-M motherboard) don’t get past “iPXE initialising devices”. Undionly.kkpxe not only works on all of our machines, but it is faster.

The wait lasts forever to my knowledge.

Are you still on 2789? Can you try on 2811?
