FOGTransfert - GLPI Plugin

  • Hi everyone,

We’ve been developing with my trainee a plugin for GLPI.
If you don’t know GLPI yet, https://github.com/k3nnyfr/fogtransfert

Tested and running on FOG 1.1.1 and GLPI 0.83 and over.

I’ll try to make screenshots tomorrow. We are looking forward to implement language support, better integration with GLPI native functions and better security.

Feel free to ask about the plugin here, I watch the thread!

    Cheers

    Alexandre

  • I know this thread is two years old.

Still I love both projects, FOG and GLPI! And I would love to see this work. So thank you guys for all the good work!
As FOG already does HW inventory, would be nice to use it in GLPI, so I don’t have to install ocsinventory and another client.

    Hey Alexandre,

still around? Does your FOGTRansfert GLPI plugin work with FOG 1.3?
And I’ve seen that GLPI has newer version too, I couldn’t install the plugin.
Could you update the plugin please?

I’m not a coder, but if I can help, let me know.

    Cheers
    Eduardo

@Nh4d I have no idea. Follow the guy’s instructions.

  • @Wayne-Workman I’d like to but how can i install it ?

@Nh4d This probably won’t work on anything later than 1.1.1 if I had to guess. Feel free to try.

  • I’m realy interested of install it the only issue is i begin in fog and glpi and i don’t realy know how to install it

  • Hi !!! I’m the core developer/UI designer of FOG Transfert, if you have questions or new features’ request you can contact me via private message or Twitter (@Punk__R0ck)

EDIT (Jun 24, 2014 at 5:13 AM) : FOG Transfert version 0.3 is here : https://github.com/Punk–Rock/fogtransfert ! It fixes many bugs and improves UI/UX…

  • I don’t know if I explained well, it’s a GLPI Plugin, not a FOG Plugin in fact =)

It connects to FOG MySQL Database but work on the basis of GLPI !

    Edit : screenshots for example

    • Green (collapsed by default) what’s already in GLPI and FOG
    • Orange : Warning on computers with name/mac different between GLPI/FOG
    • Red : Missing computers in FOG, you can add them from here.

    K3nnyfr,

I’m going take a look over this week and pull your git repo for this plugin.

Do you mind if I recode it to make it a “proper” plugin for FOG and include it in the source?
