Mods could you peg this to keep it on top of some other things. I believe many others will use this.
-
I’m glad more people are using this as i originally suggested using it
The more people that load BTSync the faster changes will replicate out and the less of Tom’s bandwidth we need to use.
-
If you guys can give some estimate of bandwidth needs, and they are reasonable, I’d like to offer our server to mirror the FOG project. Main project, snap-ins, custom kernels… Currently we are a mirror site for the m0n0wall firewall project, so it would not be a stretch to help out FOG.

If you run BTSync then it all works itself and if you have the best internet connection chances are you will end up seeding to the most clients.

Tom would you want to set something like this up for the Kernals? I would be willing to share the bandwidth!
-
If you can make a web link, I can give the php script to you that reads the kernels and sorts/lists, generates the links we need. Then just update the link in the Kernel_update function.
-
I meant (btsync) if you created a new secret and added your Kernels Folder then we can use the same process to replicate the kernels around.
But I can offer up some dropbox space or whatever you think would be helpful.
-
What about adding the Kernels to the original BTSync?
-
I’ll create another folder/secret for kernels just so they’re always up to date, but I was thinking more of a repository

You can upgrade from 0.32 to 0.33, just realize there are some things that need to be looked at first.
Look on the wiki page on what’s needed to happen if performing Upgrade.

Tom, did you setup a new BTSync yet for the kernels? (So I can get my hosts on it)
-
I can, give me a few moments.
