We are using Virtualbox to PXE boot a new image to our fog server so we can capture the image. The PXE boot hangs after tftp://10.29.8.42/snponly.efi… Ok. It doesn’t display an error, just a blinking cursor. Any ideas?

The PXE boot just blinks a cursor after tftp.

@geekyjm Is secure boot disabled on the VM? Have you tried setting a different boot file, i.e. ipxe.efi instead of snponly.efi?

Have you tried the FogApi powershell module? It's pretty cool IMHO

@jj-fullmer yes, thank you. I tried undionly.kpxe and it worked. But now the problem is I need to keep changing the boot image depending on if bios or UEFI.

@geekyjm If you have a linux or windows 2012 or later dhcp server there are somethings you can do: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/BIOS_and_UEFI_Co-Existence

If your dhcp server is on your router or is non-changeable we have options for that too.
