Help with Mac imaging

Hi guys
I need to image various Macs covering every Mac OS from Snow Leopard to Mojave. Is there a correct way of doing this ?
I can only get it working with a non sizeable disk setting, is there a way of doing it with a sizeable partition?

@zaboxmaster Mac OS X is no an easy topic. Search this forum for APFS and you will find much information on it.
Seems like someone is still working on this: https://github.com/sgan81/apfs-fuse
But: “This project is a read-only FUSE driver for the new Apple File System. Since Apple didn’t yet document the disk format of APFS, this driver should be considered experimental…”
Because of that we have not considered adding it to FOG. And there are other ways Apple is trying to make imaging Macs a no go. Search the web and you’ll find many topics on this.

Resizable is not an option since there are no open source tools to resize HFS+ or APFS partitions, unfortunately.
For preliminary APFS support (untested) you will need a newer init.xz file as well.
You can grab that here: https://dev.fogproject.org/blue/organizations/jenkins/fos/detail/master/101/artifacts
Rename it to something like init_apfs.xz then copy it over to /var/www/fog/service/ipxe
Set the init file to init_apfs.xz in the WebUI

@Quazz I had been able to successfully image my MacBook using fog 1.5.5. When I upgraded to Fog 1.5.8 it broke. I tried the init.xz that you linked to above, it behaved differently, but still didn’t work. Went back to a Fog 1.5.5 server, copied the init.xz to a renamed file on my fog 1.5.8, updated the configuration for the renamed init.xz and it worked.

Can you please give us some more details on where it breaks. Please take a picture of the screen and post here.
