Image Store Not Found Error (Deploying Image)
-
When I go to deploy an image I get this error.
I went through and verified all the FOG passwords are correct, also when a Image is captured it is not showing in the images directory and I do not see it in the dev directory as the MAC name.
Any ideas?

@imagingmaster21 Well I’m still suspecting that the linux user
fog
’s password as been reset/out of sync with what FOG’s configuration thinks it is. Your screen shot of the error is almost 100% proof. Also if you inspect /images/dev directory on the fog server you should see one or more directories in there that are named similar to mac addresses. Please follow the steps here to resync the linux user
fog
’s password with the web ui: https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/11203/resyncing-fog-s-service-account-password -

So you don’t have any image after the capture? Do you get any errors when capturing?
-
Yes I do get errors when capturing it goes through up to 100% on the capture job and then gives a error about the image store and that the computer will reboot in 1 minute. In the ‘List all Images’ it shows my image with the size of it, but is no were to be found in the /images directory. @Sebastian-Roth

@imagingmaster21 Do you find in /images/dev/ directory names that appear to be mac addresses? (i.e. /images/dev/23673F4A239A )
-
@george1421 No I did not find it with the MAC Adress
-
@imagingmaster21 OK, what we need to see is the actual error message. Can you take a clear picture of the error screen taken with a mobile phone? Will you upload it to the forum so we can see the exact nature of the error with the kernel parameters?
-
I am not sure if this error is related or not but when I try deleted the old image out of the We UI, I get this.
Also here is a screenshot of that line of code, not really seeing what is wrong with that line of code though.
-
@imagingmaster21 Interesting, this is where I was driving to with my first question about /images/dev.
OK now I need to ask. Have you changed the linux user
fog
’s password? Or do any system administration with the linux userfog
? Understand this is not the default webgui administrator named fog, I’m talking about the linux userfog
with the same name. -
@george1421 @Sebastian-Roth
Here is the error when capturing:
-
No I have not changed anything with the password for FOG, I only made sure it matched in the password settings within the FOG Web UI. It has actually remained the default as this is a test server.
