Host Imaging History lists the current Image name on every line
I just upgraded to 1.5.0 and I am not certain if this was an issue in 1.4.4…
To recreate the issue…
1 Deploy an Image to a host
2 Change the Host Image for that host
3 View the Image History from Host Management for that host
4 You may need to reload your web browser
5 The image logged in step 1 will be the Host Image set in step 2 even though you deployed a different image at that time
Expected result: Should list the name of the image deployed during step 1. Or, if the db is not tracking which image was used, it should simply not be listed in the log.
And if at some point you renamed that image, it would be preferable to list the new name. Listing the old name would be acceptable too as long as this behavior is consistent in any other reports or modules.
Cheers and thanks for a great project!
I finally had a chance to update our server (1.5.4). Image History is now reporting the correct previous image as expected. Thanks guys!
I was able to replicate and produce a fix for this.
The fix is in the git branch
Thanks for reporting.
@sebastian-roth I’m not able to replicate this. Not because it isn’t valid, but my development was working on a different area.
Sounds like a bug to me. @Tom-Elliott Are you able to replicate this?
