      Was setting up a new computer and added a corsair MP500 NVME drive to it. This is probably the 10th or so of these drives, hadn’t had any problems imaging them.
      Suddenly on this one, the drive isn’t recognized by fog anymore.

      I am on the latest working branch.

      Have you tried the FogApi powershell module? It's pretty cool IMHO

        Nevermind, it had nothing to do with the nvme drive.
        I had enabled a new feature in the uefi/bios settings that I wanted to see what did.
        Apparently fog’s latest kernel doesn’t support the new Intel Optane storage controller configuration majigger. Which isn’t surprising since I hadn’t even heard of it until about 10 minutes ago. May not even have linux drivers for it yet.

          @jj-fullmer said in mp500 nvme drive not recognized but it was recognized before:

          Intel Optane storage controller configuration majigger.

          What model computer was/is this from (for future reference).

            @george1421 It is a HP Prodesk 400 Mini G3 MFR part# 2RN27UT#ABA
            The nvme was manually added, not something that comes with it.
            But the Intel Optane setting was new to me, and this wasn’t my first prodesk 400 mini g3. But they did just change the mfr part # for this configuration and stop sending out the old one, so it’s probably related to this.

            From what I read briefly about the intel optane feature, it’s a part of the 7th gen intel core cpus chipset or requires it or something like that.
