FOG failed install init.xz

FOG Working BranchHi!
Well, I decided it was time to update my FOG server. I ran through the normal processes of updating via GIT and am now stuck…
The log file in the install directory is empty…
Please let me know if their are other files you would like.

My mistake…
Their are FOG logs in the install directory… Let me know which ones you’d like and I will post them here. Thanks!
-
I went back to the dev-branch and everything is fine…
Please close this one for now. Thanks!

I just update about 10 minutes ago and came across the same issue. I needed to be on the working branch for replication issues but when I went to update and did a git pull then re ran installer, it failed to install init.xz I’m reading the error log and it shows access denied to ‘root’@‘localhost’ Can I go back to dev-branch? It says it’s still RC9 and I know I ran into issues with replication. Thanks.

If there is a problem, it must have surfaced after 5 AM today, because my daily tests show all green: http://theworkmans.us:20080/fog_distro_check/installer_dashboard.html

I had a quick look and found that the checksum page, https://fogproject.org/inits/index.php , does not responde while it should give the checksum so we can verify if downloading the init files went fine. So we need @Tom-Elliott to have a look on the webserver logs.

@sebastian-roth Should be better.
-
Overnight, only working-branch bombed… as well as my counting system. I’ll have to see what I screwed up.
-
@wayne-workman The likelyhood was the index.php @Sebastian-Roth was referring too wasn’t responding, in the time those took to bomb out, I reset it and things started working.

Tested and updated this morning. Works fine. Thank you guys.
