Unable to edit profile

Hi,

I try to update my signature, but I’m unable to edit profile because each time I save changes, there’s an error message “username too long”…
Any idea ?

@Matthieu-Jacquart Just tried to update mine and it did. So it’s not a general issue. Just wanted to check. We’ll figure out what’s wrong with yours… don’t you worry.

@sebastian-roth ok thanks Seb, it’s not a big deal but I opened a topic yesterday and with wrong informations in my sig it’s not convenient

Edit : test with firefox and edge, it’s not a browser probem, same issue

@Tom-Elliott Seems like the setting meta.config.maximumUsernameLength (found in the NodeBB code) has been altered at some point in time. @Matthieu-Jacquart was able to register such a long time but is now unable to change settings. As I don’t have access to the NodeBB instance, would you take a look. Either increase the setting or otherwise shorten the username…?!
