Description
I am able to use a usb drive to boot the IMacs that we have to the fog menu. I was able to register it but now I cannot upload an image. I have tried to use both a Mac OS and Other image type but both times it gives me this error.

I don’t believe OS X is supported for the resizable image type.
I think OS X partitions can only safely be resized with OS X tools which are propriatry and thus not included in FOG.

@Quazz I think you are right, with an exception. FOG can not expand the MacOS disks but you can expand then inside the MacOS. What we are seeing is that for your master image you need to create a tiny OS install and capture that, then deploy this tiny image to any system with a disk size larger than the tiny reference image size. Then once deployed use the MacOS to expand the partitions to the size of the disks.

All of the computers have the same size disk so if I use one that is say 140 gb can I just capture and then deploy to the rest of the computers? How would I disable shrinking? -
@JMere Just use one of the “Non Resizable” imaging types. For your case, Single Disk - Non-Resizable would be fine.

@Tom-Elliott I did this and now when I deploy the image it is giving me an error one and stopping the image.
When I uploaded my image I had shrunk the partition on the mac to about 75 gb and used your “Single Disk-Non-Resizable” solution. The hard drives are either the same size or bigger than my original machine. -

@Tom-Elliott It was the same error as this but that solution did not work.

@JMere That doesn’t help me out any though. The newer init’s actually have MORE information that can help me help you much simpler.
