      Description

      @Senior-Developers
      The FOG Client does not change the default printer if the default is changed in the web GUI after fog printers are already installed. In the below log you will see I was doing a lot of testing and I stumbled upon this issue.

        Default printer changes are made by the user service. See the ~/.fog_user.log file.

          Bump, guessing this is still happening, and considering no other input as far as the fog_user log was requested, just wanting to know a status update, and keep it near the top as it’s one of the few unsolved “bug” reports.

          Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

            @Tom-Elliott I know, and it’ll be a while before I can get it Tom. You know why.

              @Wayne-Workman Oh meant to add that in to the comment lol. Sorry, I realize it will be a bit, just was trying to keep it near the top of the list.

                @Wayne-Workman Guessing this still happening? (Just trying to keep to the first page of bugs so we don’t lose it.)

                  Is it possible to solve this thread yet?

                  I ask because I worked on a few systems last week, and they all seemed to have been getting their information and things appeared to be setting properly.

                  The noted items was if I manually stopped/started the FOG Service on the machines, the default printer setting would not happen, which is (as I recall it) expected as the default setter happens via the FOGUserService, not the FOGService element. When you manually stop the FOGService, the FOGUserService is closed to, but on FOGService start (manually) the FOGUserService is not automatically restarted.
