      @Tom:
      Yes, I am not sure if this is related to the first issue or possible a left over but I am looking into it.

      @Thiago:
      Thank you for the article. After reading it I am actually wondering if they are actually trying to teach me how to shutdown windows. If that is the case, well, with my background in IT I think I have an idea how to do it. However, they referring to a logged on user and not a sysprep session that it is what I was using. Once the sysprep runs the system will reboot automatically in order to set the box back to “Out of the Box Experience”.

        Just a quick note, with the forums, if you put a space after the @, @NAME it won’t notify the person. So @ Jbob would not work, but @Jbob would

              Hi there to all of you FOGGERS.
              I am now having issues randomly with some other images.
              I am getting and error:
              " An error has been detected!
              Image failed to restored
              Computer will reboot in 1 minute"

              The error is after Partclone try to access the image.

              Partclone v0.2.78 http://partclone.org
              Starting to resotre image (-) to device (/dev/sda1)
              device (/dev/sda1) is mounted at
              error exit

              To save some time I have checked the password in the storage and also the TFTP sever and they are all good, I have also reset the password for fog user to the same as the one for the storage and the TFTP, plus check all the permissions on the file system set to 777 and still no go.

              I have been having problems sine the fist update I did to the server.
              Is there a way to just keep the images, destroy the server and reinstall FOG back to the original configuration in 1.2.0 without any of the updates. The last schema change in MySQL was the one giving me the issue since then I haven’t been able to get FOG were it was.

              Thanks for all you help.

                Sounds NFS related, or permissions related.

                    It’s a partclone image or an old partimage ?

                      I am not sure what are you asking me. The only FOG I have used is 1.2.0. I am not sure if the image was created with partimage. I can tell you for sure that some images work some other don’t.

                            You meant the imaging software, got you!!!
                            If there is a way to view a FOG log I can confirm or deny your answer, otherwise I will have to take your word for. My major concern is how to fix it if there is a way.

                              If you have old image before 1.2, the FOG_FORMAT_FLAG_IN_GUI display the information in the image details.

                                Looking at the image info, I got:
                                "Deploy Method

                                Partclone"

                                I am thinking the image should be ok as it is created with Partclone as well. After looking a several of my images, there are all created with Partclone imaging software.

                                How do I fix the issue?

                                  Partclone is not an issue. Could you ls -l /images/a_bugged_restored_image

                                    I already did a ls -ltr which display all the folders and subfolders under /images.
                                    You are requesting another listing of the directories in a listing format. Which would be almost the same as the one I already provided.

                                      I already did a ls -ltr which display all the folders and subfolders under /images.
                                      You are requesting another listing of the directories in a listing format. Which would be almost the same as the one I already provided.

                                      I’ve a hard day today, where ???

                                        Could you please do a debug deployment? There are instructions for this in the “Troubleshooting NFS” WiKi article. https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Troubleshoot_NFS#Using_a_FOG_debug_deployment_for_testing_.28easy_.26_quick_way.29

                                        There are some instructions in there for testing upload and download. Can you please follow those and see if they are successful?

                                          Can you please clarify couple of point on this Wiki? Where is the directory being created? Where is the test.txt file located? is this in the server or in the client? Is this a SSH session to the server?
                                          Currently I am getting an error but I am not sure if it is because I haven’t created the test.txt file.
                                          The error is:
                                          cp: cannot stat '/images/test.txt: no such file or directory

                                          @Wayne-Workman
                                          Scratch the above, I was blind and lazy not to ready the whole article. I missed one point.
                                          I was able to copy the text.txt file from /images to /images/dev/ through the client.
                                          Anything else you would like me to try?
