IPXE 1.0.0 to 1.0.1

Well, that didn’t help. Any ideas why I am getting the error above?
-
Could you please be more specific on when and where this error occours? A quick search on the web didn’t give much information so we are left to guess… Maybe you can take a screenshot/picture of it. Please help us so that we are able to help you!

Here is what I am getting. It is version 1.2.0 on Ubuntu 13.10. It only seems to happen with the newer HP laptops we just purchased.

What are you booting into?
An OS type (type == null) is required to image. Booting into debug and then typing “fog” will not work.
-
Just found this in the forums: http://fogproject.org/forum/threads/latest-fog-0-33b.6476/page-67#post-24864
Seams like there was a bug in FOG long time ago. Not sure if this is similar to your issue but please check all the posts by this guy in this thread. Maybe it’s of any help.As Tom suggested in that thread please try to run a debug session and post a screenshot of the variables printed on the screen…
By the way: From what I can tell this is way beyond iPXE, meaning that iPXE has already loaded the kernel and started linux!! I suppose this can not be fixed by updating iPXE files…

Do you mean (type != null)? Or maybe I don’t get what you mean?
-
His type == null, but it should NOT, so I guess either is correct?
-
The laptops have Windows 7 on them. I am just iPXE booting them the same as the other laptops we have. I tried another Toshiba and it booted fine the same way.
-
Fish are you booting this in debug only mode? OR debug download?
-
Not sure what you are asking there?
-
How are you booting to “debug”?
There are taskings that are specific for debug modes. For example, there’s a Debug Only tasking, and there’s an Upload Debug and a Download Debug task.
