Capone blank option

Can you send a screenshot of what you see
-
I’m in the very same boat. Here’s a screen shot. Any solution is much appreciated!

I too have seen this.
My fix, dirty and should not be necessary was to find the capone instance of run.php. which did exist at an earlier revision, and copy it into
lib/plugins/capone/html
It used to exist there in an earlier revision, but shouldn’t be necessary now, but for some strange reason it is, but only on some installation.
Most odd. -
I’m not fully understanding why either as it only requests the run.php file should it exist in the folder. Something’s leading me to think maybe Browser cache is looking for the run.php?
-
My home system was fine.
My work system had the problem, I can’t remember whether I was on the server (firefox) or my PC (ie8).
I’ll have a try tomorrow, renaming run.php and clearing the cache and see if I can get some more details. -
I found only one run.php that had capone content in it, and copied the file to the lib/plugins/capone/html/ directory. Now the page displays:
Plugin Description: Capone is a automation plugin for fog.
This is just an example of information pushed out if the plugin is installed!I’ve attached another screen shot…
Thank You

That’s because that’s not the right run.php file. Can you give me your error logs.
-
…where is the log…
-
…sorry…guess I could have read your signature before I asked. Here’s much of the logs from today.

I think I just fixed /var/www/fog/management/css/images error, so hopefully they’ll be less spammed.
This doesn’t give me anything specifically. The last two error’s are sort of expected if you’re not logged into fog.
If you could, try getting the logs when you’re trying to access capone.php, chances are nothing will show up, but you never know sometimes.
-
I logged into fog, removed and reinstalled the capone plugin. Capone still acts the same and these changes did not trigger anything new in the logs: (I waited to 14:54 to start the uninstall / reinstall)

Now I’m very confused. I just reinstalled Ubuntu 12.04 and fog 1.1.0 from scratch and capone still does not work. What am I doing wrong? (This clean install is on the hardware that has been my production fog server for 2+ years)
Here’s my install:Ubuntu 12.04 on raid 0+1
Logged in as root and did everything as root this time. I’ve never installed or used fog as root before, just did this time to be “safe”.wget -O fog_1.1.0.tar.gz https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/freeghost/FOG/fog_1.1.0/fog_1.1.0.tar.gz?r=https%3A%2F%2Fsourceforge.net%2Fprojects%2Ffreeghost%2F&ts=1402051465&use_mirror=superb-dca3
tar -xvzf fog_1.1.0.tar.gz
cd fog_1.1.0/bin
./installfog.shEverything installs and works as it should with no errors, just not capone. Please see the attached screen shots and let me know where I’m messing it up? Here are the errors in the apache2 logs:

What is so strange to me is what’s actually happening.
It happens sporadically it seems, but you’ve been able to replicate it twice in a row?
-
Oh, I’m good!
That’s why I’m so confused and frustrated. I know it works, so why not now?
Do you have a step-by-step from fresh Ubuntu install to working capone…just in case I’m a knucklehead and am forgetting to do something? -
the best I could do is have you try to load the run.php from a real capone plugin in lib/plugins/capone/html/.
You could do this with:
wget -O /var/www/fog/lib/plugins/capone/html/run.php http://sourceforge.net/p/freeghost/code/1419/tree/trunk/packages/web/management/plugins/capone/run.php?format=raw
Hopefully this helps.

Now I have this. Please see attachment
