@robertkwild In the web UI go to FOG Configuration -> FOG Settings -> General Settings, put in shutdown=1 for KERNEL ARGS and save settings. Now you have all client shutting down instead of rebooting no matter which task they run - be it registration / deploy / capture / …

By the way, if you only want to use this for specific clients you can set shutdown=1 as Host Kernel Arguments option for a specific client/host for it to shutdown instead of reboot.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG

@Sebastian-Roth I would think if one only wanted the system to shutdown after a full registration you could update the iPXE FOG Menu item for full registration and add in shutdown=1 to the Boot Options field.

I have not personally tried doing that, so its only an educated guess.

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!
