    just ran the snapin. it is not working… I checked the fog log, it saying some sort of Middleware response error. It just has a pause icon as below:

      @msi Can you get us the actual error from the log please? We would need the entire log chunk that it came from.

        I am fairly new to this and I am having a similar problem, snapin task starts but just sits queued.
        I followed the youtube example clip for 7zip. Any help would be appreciated.

            @msi
            there is a fog log text file on the C drive of the pc that you are trying to install the snapin to.

                @wild1 That looks like you’re using the old old client. You should be using the latest version of the FOG Server, and the new fog client.

                  @msi You just need to reset the encryption for that host - and that problem should go away. Go find that host in the web GUI, on it’s general tab there will be a big “reset encryption” button towards the top of the pane. You can also reset encryption for all hosts by putting them all in a group, and clicking “reset encryption” for the group - it doesn’t hurt to do this at all, and just helps keep problems down. There’s a short CPU spike when all the encryption negotiations between server & client are being done, and then you’re back to normal. The end users see nothing.

                    @wayne-workman jus perform the reset encryption procedure. I had the same problem. Than I remove and reinstalled the client. Now its working.

                        updated the fogservice and it worked, thankyou.
                        Just need to update all the other clients now. Is there any way of amending the network installer? without specifying the ip address of the Fog server the client install had a certificate error.

                          What exactly do you mean by that? Do you know about the installer options? See here: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=FOG_Client#FOG_Client_0.10.0.2B_Installation_Options

                          Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)
