@Wayne-Workman yes but what to delete exactly? sorry i don’t know.
Regards X23
@Scott-B how to do this steps manually, what is the client doing? is it using the ms vbs scripts for this?
Regards X23
@Tom-Elliott when i click on delete nothing (really nothing) happens, no blank page. It’s like i’ve never clicked on delete.
the exe i uploaded as client update is a snapin (teamviewer) it was a mistake and now i just want to get rid of it like it was never there.
Howto do that?
Regards X23
@Tom-Elliott afai remember no. but i think there is additionally another problem since i am on latest trunk with client 10.6, have a look: https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/7413/fog-client-0-10-6-error-object-reference-not-set-to-an-instance-of-an-object/12
@Tom-Elliott what for a snapin? i uploaded some wrong file in the client updater section like the screenshot is showing and i want to remove this but the delete icon is not working, when i click on it nothing happens.
Then i thougth ok i delete the file on filesystem and i am good but the entry is still there and can’t removed until i do it over the db but i don’t know exactly what to remove and may i found a bug? why is the delete button not working?
Sorry but maybe i don’t understand your instructions correctly.

Hey guys,
don’ get me wrong. Okay i reexplain it:
First of all i have used the Printer Helper binary.
Next thing Windows 10 has an embedded driver for the HP M401 and i have a downloaded one.
My first attempt was to use the downloaded driver on a network share readable by everyone. This Method seems to fail because the port will be created but printer driver is not installed.
Then i tried the embedded one and i have the same issue port is there but printer itself not.
I have used exactly the information given the printer helper program.
Can maybe someone of you test this with a windows 10 machine?
This i what printer helper shows me when using the embedded driver:

This i what printer helper shows me when using the downloaded driver vom hp:

@Tom Elliot FYI i am now on trunk 7645

@Wayne-Workman i have tried disabling fogservice and creating a setupcomplete.cmd but it seems that it will never be launched, after login i can see that fogservice is still disabled.
I created it under C:\Windows\Setup\Script\SetupComplete.cmd
Microsoft KB let me now that SetupComplete.cmd will not been executed when using OEM Key, for this reason i removed the install key i used with slmgr.vbs /cpky and /upk but anyway SetupComplete.cmd is not executed.
Since that was not working i tried FirstLogonCommands in unattend.xml but even this is not working, i also do two registry tweaks with FirstLogonCommand, they work but setting FOGService to delayed-auto and service start not.
My last try was a unattend.xml that will autologon once the local admin i create with the unattend.xml file and placed a cmd script into Start Menu > Autostart to reenable FOGService but also this method even does not work.
Now i stuck:
Why should i disable FOGService before Imaging? the last thing before i get to sleep last night was to let the service enabled but with delayed start, after sysprepping and rerun on the same vm setup was running clean and after logon fogservice was started.
Is it really needed to disable FOGService before doing image tasks?
I am screwed
EDIT:
Something else i could find on the web:

I am using Windows Media Creation tool to get a windows 10 iso, we are using BIOS embedded or bought Windows 10 Pro OEM Licenses.
What can i do?
Regards X23
@Tom-Elliott god damnit i really was blind sorry for this:

Hi,
i have exactly the same issue.

then after the link on here:

empty…
Maybe it has started while i was testing sysprepping with a virtual box vm where i often captured and redeployed with same macs.
For some reason i resetted encryption data for this hosts via mysql in the shell.
Last night i installed fog service on my productive machine and in the webif today i could see that there is a pending host but when i click on it i see an empty list.
How can i solve this?
Regards X23
@Wayne-Workman could you please tell me where the link is to reset the token for a single machine?
Maybe i am blind but i cannot see anything i would take for resetting the token thing.

@Wayne-Workman sure here it is: http://freeghost.sourceforge.net/videotutorials/printer.swf
The video shows howto determine printer name from ntprint.inf but in windows 10 there are a lot of embedded drivers but they cannot be found in ntprint.inf
That’s the reason i tried the share (readable by everyone, checked the inf for the right name and took em) with a downloaded driver for the device from hp.
If you install the HP M401 under windows 10 by adding the port and driver autodetection it installs the embedded driver but i don’t know howto locate the names and the correct inf under windows 10.
Regards X23
@Arrowhead-IT @Jbob the share is readable by anyone (anonymous) a can also place the driver on the local system even then it will not install only the port is created.
@Wayne-Workman i tried the printer manager helper and on my productive windows 10 i used the embedded driver that windows 10 brings for the hp m401 and not the one on the share.
The strange thing is the helper tells me that the ntprint.inf was used on my local system for the driver but when i open the ntprint.inf i cannot find the entry the helper is showing for the printername. Thats the reason why i tried it with a dowloaded driver from hp in the share i used.
In the wiki example video i can see a lot of entrys for printer names in ntprint.inf but under windows 10 there is not a single entry but if you create network ports it automatically detects the driver and uses the embedded one, how to locate the right drivers names for embedded printer driver in windows 10 like the wiki video is showing?

Hi,
it seems that i have to delete the security id’s in database when deploying again and again to test an image.
Is there no way to remove the security entry for a particular host over the web interface?
Regards X23
Hi,

Hi,
i mistakenly uploaded a snapin to the client updater section and now i cannot remove it,
when i try to click on the button delete nothing happens.
How can i get rid of this entry what to edit in the system?
Here comes a picture:
Again, i try to click on Delete (see the arrow) and nothing happens, no load in the browser.
Please help.

Hi,
i changed the inf path away from unc path and integrated the print driver by right click > install driver.
Now i have a oem15.inf under c:\windows\inf and the driver is integrated in the system.
Then i changed the inf path for the printer configuration from \unc\path to c:\windows\inf\oem15.inf
But i have the same Problem, the printer port will created but the printer driver installation is missing no device under printer.
Now the question is, how can i debug the installation attempt on the windows machine to see what is happening?
Is it maybe a Problem when the Printer Model has spaces? Maybe i have to set the Model into “”?
Please help

Hi,
do you try to restore to vm? i’ve seen several error for example with virtual box when trying to restore an earlier captures sysprepped image.
