Randoms requestsposted in Feature Request
[]Can you add small things to the basic tasks?..Shutdown & Restart
[]In host management can we add a last communication time(day) with Host, last deployed, make/model, serial(if available). I know to the minute maybe hard but at least a date would be helpful. Most of this data is collected already in the database. Also it already can be displayed on the Listing of hosts(when editing a particular file). I would love to see it for that particular Host.
[]Change Fog Congfigurationâ>FOG Settingsâ>âExpandâ to âExpand ALLâ
[]Shouldnât fog configâ>fog system settingsâ>Fog Boot settingsâ>Fog_pigz_comp be in Image Managementâ>[image name]â>(under Partition). Default it to 9 and then people can change the compression from there per image. If its an overall thing then it shouldnât be in boot settings. Maybe an upload section.

RE: Organizational Unit Featureposted in Feature Request
Surprisingly enough Tom is working on a way to make all the questions asked during any task to be edited in the web gui. Kind of like the iPXE menu. I personally donât want all the questions and it confuses my interns easily when there is a new question. I wanted to remove some of the questions. The issue is something needs to be put in the database and how to implement it? The same goes for adding questions a new column will needed to be added on the fly and what will be the default values?
All in all you will see this in the future. Time willingâŠ

RE: Imaging HP Z230posted in Hardware Compatibility
You do not need to force this. Fog will automatically take care of the 64-bit and 32-bit kernels. Please confirm that you do have both versions of the kernels. All kernels are located here: /var/www/fog/service/ipxe
Just to plainly say if you donât get an ip address then you will not get anything from fog. Please double check your BIOS settings.
Video or pics would be very helpful.

RE: Fog menu on version 1.2.0posted in FOG Problems
That clues us in a bit more. You are most likely the release of 1.2.0 which is revision 2094. This is the most stable release without going to beta versions. If you want to get updated to the beta versions please use one of the methods on this wiki.
http://fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Upgrade_to_trunk
Trunk is the most up-to-date at that point in time. Keep an eye out if you update to this. You are bound to hit issues and ussually if reported Tom(Senior Developer) will have it fixed in less than a day or so. This means constant updating for more features and fixes.
The extra menu items are in the trunk and thus why you do not have them. If you do not wish to update to the trunk you will have to edit your advanced menu. You will find examples here:

RE: Fog menu on version 1.2.0posted in FOG Problems
Fog Configuration. iPXE Boot Menu, iPXE New Menu Entry, iPXE Menu Configuration.
PXE is chainloading iPXE so you will no longer edit the PXE menu but you will NOW edit the iPXE Menu. using the above Config entries.

RE: Updated from .32 to 1.1.0 to 1.1.2 to 1.2.0 - User Login Hist page blankposted in FOG Problems
I would suggest you change your memory to 256mb should accelerate the page load and still accommodate your history file. I have 736 machines with 984 users. My report works fine with 256M.

RE: IPXE fails to boot to menu in 1.2posted in FOG Problems
I have a few questions about your network.
1.)What network switches do you have?
2.)Is STP enabled?
3.)Are the host and server on different VLANS? -
