Import and Export is now there under FOG Configuration.
Hopefully it’s a start.

r933 is out.
It has the export.php file for the exporting of stuff. Just forewarning, I’ve got the base components of configuration export in place as well. To view it, goto:
http://<fogIP>/fog/management/index.php?node=about&sub=config
It just has export so far and not quite a pretty thing, but please view and suggest.
r932 out.
With it comes Export Hosts, Fixes/Improvements to Printer Management, SnapinManagement, GroupManager.
It also display’s a primary group now on the hosts.
There were a couple of issues and I’ve, seemingly, fixed them. Hope this helps you out.
Please redownload and test with r930
HostManager.class.php which does the update/insert for the hostname still was referencing hostOS which doesn’t exist.
As far as I can tell, the GUI side of this is working properly, but the client side may be having issues. I’ll test for sure, but I’m not certain how to rebuild the client.
Also, how is it that you know hostnamechanger isn’t working? It isn’t changing the hostname after image upload? it isn’t joining active directory?
What exactly is letting you know hostname changer isn’t working?
I don’t know that compression choices could be set from GUI. The init.gz file performs the compression using pigz, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t be using gzip or bzip compression, but I think that would be better suited on the client level from the fog script.
r928 out. Contains Plugins again. Sorry I didn’t know they even existed.
Capone should now be, sort of, operational. Plugins are back from what I can tell. Again, as I’ve never used them, I haven’t really got a clue. I got it functioning within the DB, but I can’t tell if it’s functioning after that point.
r927 out.
Hopefully it’s all good.
EDIT: Had to create a class, but forgot to initially add it to the last commit action. It’s up now. r928
The task won’t be created if the GUI doesn’t have the information to store it to.
Is the portmap service and nfs-kernel-server service running?
Also, is your images folder the one FOG creates during installation or did you create it yourself?
If you created it yourself, lets just say at /data/somewhereelse/images, make sure you add that to the storage group. If it’s within the same server, you’ll probably need to edit the /etc/exports file to serve the NFS share to the new location rather than, /image /images/dev
Also, if you created the directory for images yourself, make sure you have the .mntcheck files within. All you have to do is run:
touch /images/.mntcheck; touch /images/dev/.mntcheck
Change the /images part to match your file structure
Then run:
chmod -R 777 /images
Again…change the /images part to match your file structure
I don’t know how else to help.
I don’t know your system. I don’t know your particular setup.
Unrecognized service means something is not being typed properly.
What ever the commands where that restarted your tftp services yesterday should be the same today, unless somebody uninstalled that program.
To find the service, open a terminal and perform:
sudo ls /etc/init.d
Look for a the files called tftp. I think it may be tftpd-hpa
so maybe try:
sudo service tftpd-hpa restart.
I really can’t.
However, try running service tftp-hpa stop; service tftp-hpa start
then change the host part back to localhost for both the /opt/fog/service/etc/config.php and the /var/www/fog/commons/config.php
It sounds more like the apache server needs to be referencing for the bond0 so it knows where to actually look.
I could be wrong. Check the log files in error_log to find out as well.
It should be correct, but did you verify the database name, username, and password fields were all correct?
Your host should be the FOG SERVER IP (not Localhost or 127.0.0.1)
The database should, typically, be called fog
The Username is usually root. If you have a different username, then use that, but typically it’s fog.
Did you set a password for the database? If you did, make sure that is correct as well.
Yes, but your main file dealing with that needs to match:
/var/www/fog/commons/config.php
And you’re sure the database is accessible?
Is this an upgraded system, or brand new install for 0.32?
I would recommend taking a look at your /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default file. Make sure that the web= Parts are locating your system properly.
Meaning,
If your file shows the web lines as:
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/fog
Add a trailing slash so it looks like:
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/fog/
