I have several shipments of new computers with an SSD that will not PXE boot to the local drive. It just hangs there.

I am running fog 8064 on Red Hat 6 Linux and I am trying to boot a Dell OptiPlex 5040 computer with Windows 10 to a Class 10 SSD (I have another shipment of computers that is failing on a Class 20 SSD). If I turn off the network boot it boots okay to the SSD.

I tried to compile the iPXE programs myself and they did not fail, but gave a bootmgr error, so I probably did not do it correctly. When was the last time that they were updated?

Lookup a host.
Then press the Delete menu item
Confirm the removal.
It now pops up a mini screen asking for login/password.
It then says that it is attempting to perform actions - and hangs here.

I do not know if this helps, but the host was part of 3 groups when they were deleted.

Nope, it happens every time that I hit delete. This seems to be the cause of the looping.

Fails also on Chrome. Also, there is now a new pop up re-authorization screen just before it loops.

Confirmed that it works in 8064.

This seems to be a hard error and may be a duplicate of the task not finishing error. What I am seeing is when you delete a host, the browser never finishes and it loops on the server until you close the browser window. The host seems to be deleted okay.

I have Hide Menu set with a 2 sec timeout, and login required. When booting normally I see the normal 2 sec wait until local login. But, if I press ESC I get the login menu (like normal), but after I login I see boot.php being called twice and back to the Booting… screen rather than the menu. This never times out and just hangs. This is on 8036 and 8056 on a Red Hat 6 server.

I am on 7707 at the present time and it seems to be working when I disabled/enabled the eth1 interface. I am not sure what will happen if I install an update without doing the disable/enable during it. Could this be an install error during the multicast configuration? I noticed that it had the subnet mask from eth1, and not eth0 during installation.

No the interface is on my fog server, but is an internal backup network. I fudged around it by disabling the interface, updating fog, and then re-enabling the interface.

GreenFOG is failing with client 0.10.6 on a Windows 10 system. It looks like the \ is missing (not doubled?) in the filename below.

But I also see the following in the event viewer:

Task Scheduler service found a misconfiguration in the NT TASK\FOG\0@23@s definition.
Additional Data: Error Value: C:\Programs Files (x86)\FOGPower.exe.

It looks like that should be a \ between the FOG and Power.exe

The FOG_MULTICAST_ADDRESS is zero.

It is eth1’s address. I am not sure where FOG is picking it up.
