As always thanks for the fast reply. Network guy (Scott) is out this week. Hell to pay if his manager guy (me) broke his server, LOL

MySql error after svn 5719 upgraded
ran svn up , then ./install and it looked like it went well. I am able to login to fog. Able to search for a host. But once I click on a host name I get a webpage that says
SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘AND
hostMAC
.hmHostID
= ANDhostMAC
.hmIgnoreClient
= ORDER BYhostMAC
.`h’ at line 1Any ideas? Every thing else seems to work, I can look at printer objects. images, groups.
The sql server seem ok because I can pull it up in webmin and look at a table.Thanks.

RE: Green frog
@george1421 ok i see the power management tab in my server (instead of GreenFog) to set the shutdown time. I am running client 0.9.10 . Do i have to update to 0.11 client for the power management to work?

RE: Target partition is smaller than source but using non-resizable image type
sorry I dont think this is an issue anymore. We dont seem to be getting it aver we updated to the latest svn. Sorry again for the non response.

RE: Target partition is smaller than source but using non-resizable image type
@ITSolutions Thanks. I did wipe the 250G drive completely with Gparted, deleted and remade the part table , same issue.
Thanks again.

RE: Target partition is smaller than source but using non-resizable image type
If it helps trouble shooting we are having a similar issue. Pull the image down on a bunch of machines. 2 or 3 will give this error
if we just let it reboot, sometimes 6 or 7 times a it finally works. The image was made on a 40G HD (vm) , the failed machines show the second partition made by fog as 35.1 or 35.9 ( I dont recall exactly as this was yesterday)
Images are single disk, multiple part, non resisable. Fog SVN 7959
Again, not trying to hijack, just posting incase it was related and helped with trouble shooting.

RE: Adobe or Cute PDF printer
@Jbob Thanks a million! That worked. Just made sure CutePDF was on the image, then made a printer with the same name in fog, and BOOM fog kept the printer and did not delete it.

RE: Adobe or Cute PDF printer
@Quazz do you use pdfcreator? Do you have a link. I tried a couple called PDFcreator. 1 had : in the ports, the other set off my AnitVirus.
-
RE: Adobe or Cute PDF printer
Well that didnt work. “Lcoal” is not an option. So how would I even add a printer to LPT1: or File: since they both have : in them?
-
RE: Adobe or Cute PDF printer
Thanks for the feed back. I am 99.5% Positive it worked with the legacy for printer client. I know i pushed out Cute_PDF printers last year with it.
as you can see here, Windows does indeed add the : to its default PDF or XPS port name
Thanks again for the quick reply.
EDIT: It just dawned on me that maybe I need to do the install as a LOCAL printer? Cuz LPT1: has a : also this video shows adding the : after LPT1 http://freeghost.sourceforge.net/videotutorials/printer.swf Ill try tomorrow and post back.
