      @quazz and @george1421, I did a workaround to it. As my DHCP works with subnets, I took apart one of them to offer ipxe.efi instead of undiolny.kpxe. Now I have other issue… I have two UEFI devices, to older got a iPXE boot as I did my workaround, but the other, newer, did not! It’s telling this:

      Could not boot: Connection reset (http://ipxe.org/0f0a6095)
      Chainloading failed, his 's' for the iPXE shell; reboot in 10 seconds

    • UEFI PXE boot from Windows 2003 DHCP

      Hi,

      Did somebody got a PXE boot from a Windows 2003 DHCP by UEFI? According to Wiki nobody got it yet. I would be the first, but I’ll be happier if somebody got it before! 🙂

      No regarding which Vendor Classes to register (because I think W2k3 will not follow this directive) they always try to read undionly.kpxe. If I force them to read any other, link as ipxe.efi, they return a “NBP filesize is 0 Bytes” condition.

      Any ideas?

      @sebastian-roth and @Wayne-Workman, solved! I just had to update storage management password for DefaultMember. After that, I got successfully uploaded captured image. Thanks!

    • Cannot capture image, it's stuck on 95%

      Hi!

      I’m trying to capture an image as a new version, over an already existing image. The problem is FOG is not ending this process. Task management talks about 95% to complete.
      0_1512506492710_Seleção_204.png

      after capturing process, it shows this message:
      0_1512506818579_fogerror.PNG

      Is it user permissions? Must I give all to root user?

    • RE: "No valid data" image, but there is data in storage. How re-enable it?

      @wayne-workman and @sebastian-roth, this issue is solved. I thought I posted an answer days ago, but where is it? The important is FOG is running fine about this issue. When I reinstalled FOG, I unmounted images partition, so post init sripts were copied to original /images folder on server sda disk. So I unmounted /images againd e copied this folder to correct place.

      As the original question, it’s fine. I got successful to deploy this image to another host.

      Thanks!

      @wayne-workman , I think it’s another issue. I cannot deploy any other image, because I got this error below. The deployer stuck in this screen, no regarding what user I choose to execute the task:

    • "No valid data" image, but there is data in storage. How re-enable it?

      Hi,

      I see some images that are assigned as “no valid data”
      0_1511452318562_fog_nvd.png

      besides there is data in its folder:

      $ ls /images/LenovoA70zPainelW10au/ -l
      total 17498324
      -rwxrwxrwx 1 fog fog         512 Mar 22  2017 d1.mbr

      -rwxrwxrwx 1 fog fog   259800100 Mar 22  2017 d1p2.img

      but “d1.partitions” file is missing. Is it the cause for invalidate this image?
      Is there a tool or some way to rebuild this file so recover this image?

      @wayne-workman I could delete fog user by your suggest, but when I try to insert a user I have this error:

      mysql> INSERT INTO `users` (`uName`,`uPass`,`uCreateBy`,`uType`) VALUES ('fog','$2y$11$g0Hu8OaOStuPk7WWYGh6Wu4PLlZDZGOkzMwEEAk.rZMrI9IdDwno.','localAdmin','0');

      mysql> INSERT INTO `users` (`uName`,`uPass`,`uCreateBy`,`uType`) VALUES ('bob','$2y$11$g0Hu8OaOStuPk7WWYGh6Wu4PLlZDZGOkzMwEEAk.rZMrI9IdDwno.','localAdmin','0');
      ERROR 1364 (HY000): Field 'uCreateDate' doesn't have a default value
      mysql>

      I reinstalled fog Normal server using my 3g (just 23MB). At first try, fog user was “invalig login”. After I changed password by here

      UPDATE `users` SET `uPass` = '$2y$11$g0Hu8OaOStuPk7WWYGh6Wu4PLlZDZGOkzMwEEAk.rZMrI9IdDwno.' WHERE `uName` = 'fog';

      the answer was “Not Allowed Here”

    • RE: Cannot enter FOG Web Interface: "Not Allowed Here"

      @wayne-workman, I did that before, but the issue here is not about passwords. If the password were wrong, the message would be “invalid logon”. I changed permissions to user FOG, not allowing web access. If I could find where in Apache or Mysql to revert it without need to access WEB interface, this issue could be solved. At the other hand, I did a full server install. Reinstall it will solve this issue? Because I Already did that.

    • Cannot enter FOG Web Interface: "Not Allowed Here"

      Hi!

      I changed fog user permissions, due to another issue I posted (https://forums.fogproject.org/post/103617). Now the problem is that I cannot enter with fog user because it’s “not allowed here” (attached image).

      I reinstalled FOG and the password was reset to ‘password’ default. But fog permissions were not changed, so I may understand that new FOG instalation didn’t reset user permissions.

      I created another user with admin permissions before FOG reinstall (because I cannot enter WEB interface anymore), but I don’t remember who is he. Any solution for me, please?!0_1511374334414_Seleção_178.png

      @Wayne-Workman, I installed a new server 1.3.5-based. Congratulations for this new version, very pleasant and beautiful interface!

      I created a VM in my home, because here at my work I can’t reach ondrej repository (issue 9342).
      So I downloaded here and change almost everything, except by an error at PXE engine boot:

      ...
      Configuring (net0 88:ad:43:fb:8a:cf)..... ok
      Received DHCP answer on interface net0
      tftp://172.24.3.145/default.ipxe... ok
      http:/192.168.0.17/fog/service/ipxe/boot.php.................................. Connection timed out (http://ipxe.org/4c0a6035)

      My home network is 192.168.0.0, my work network is 172.24.0.0
      Where do I change this IP?

      OK, @Wayne-Workman, I reinstalled fog 1.2.0 according defaults (/images as default storage node location) and all is running like a charm! About 1.3.5 setup, I have ubuntu 14.04 alive and kicking, but it stucks at “cannot add PPA: ‘ppa:~ondrej/ubuntu/php’. ERROR: ‘~ondrej’ user or team does not exist.” message. Besides I am under a proxy, it doesn’t not seems to be the problem, since I can do almost everything.

      @Wayne-Workman I set /images/fog because I was using /images to another service, but I’ll change to /images itself, because I can’t lose time anymore.
      I tried to upgrade to 1.3.4, but I couldn’t install it, due to “ondrej issue” (https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/5306/adding-needed-repository-failed).
      Will 1.3.5 upgrade ask for ondrej/ppa?
