@tag Is it arbitrarily? If you try the same PC over and over does it report different speeds?

I think it has to do with the order your system reports the NICs in. If it reports the slower NIC first it will use that. Perhaps that’s something you can alter on your end?

Same here on git 8279, also unable to capture images and such as a result.

@alexwarren Try removing the file, then copying it again.

If it still acts up see if copying it under a different name produces better results

@tag Sorry, it’s still morning, things got mixed up in my head.

I think this can only be solved by directing traffic through network control, but I don’t really know enough about it to comment.

    • RE: Dual NIC clients

@tag You can define wich NIC to use in FOG, so no, it would only use that NIC. Everything else will depend a lot on your network setup so I can’t comment on that.

I also tried adding option tftp-server-name X.X.X.X; to my dhcpd config file, but no luck.

The correct option is next-server X.X.X.X

That’s probably already correctly set judging by your post.

Your problem may be resolved by trunk, maybe not, but you’d need to install newer Ubuntu version for it.

    • RE: NTFS signature missing

FOG 1.2 has almost no support at all for Windows 10. You’ll need to upgrade to trunk to do it.

And unfortunately if you want to upgrade to trunk you’d need to install a newer version of Ubuntu (or other supported linux distribution) for proper functionality.

@Greg-Plamondon I’ve had issues in the past when I had unattend.xml in the sysprep folder that it would use that file regardless of whether or not I specified it. I’m guessing that’s your issue as well.

    • RE: Snapin Problem

@boeleke He is looking for hash checking php file on the QNAP. It fails to verify because it fails to find the file on the QNAP. I bet if you were to put it on the main server it would work just like that.

Perhaps an idea for the devs to make it check hash on the main server, seeing as it’s already checking in there and such anyway.

      @boeleke said in Snapin Problem:

      http://172.16.0.201/fog/status/getsnapinhash.php

I’m guessing you’ll see something when you open that link.

However, the weird part is that Apache seems to report being on 172.16.0.17 instead. Even though the Service checks in at the correct location in all other circumstances…

@plegrand That’s because Snapins run under the System account which cannot interact with the desktop.

    • RE: Snapin Problem

Judging from the error, the snapin stopped because of an issue with the hash. I’m not sure what went wrong precisely, though.

What revision are you on? What OS is FOG running on? Are you trying to do this in a VM?
