all my host have a red circle with exclamation point and this error message :
“no such device or address”. What does that mean ?
I think it’s because fog cant ping my hosts because there is no dns on my network. Is there an other way to make it works?
I made some tests with wins (samba, winbind…) without success

Now, just to see if multicast is the issue, can you multicast to just two computers? Make a temp group, put two computers in it, and then use that group to multicast. Is there a speed difference?

I havent dns on my network then is there a way to see if hosts are down or up by ip adress or netbios name ?

Is there a way to know what is the correspondence between version in the cloud and svn version ?
I saw on the wiki that there is 4 images types :
Single Partition
Multiple Partition - Single Disk
Multiple Partition - All Disks
Raw ImageOn the web frontend
Single Disk - Resizable - (1)
Multiple Partition Image - Single Disk (Not Resizable) - (2)
Multiple Partition Image - All Disks (Not Resizable) - (3)
Raw Image (Sector By Sector, DD, Slow) - (4)As you can see the first option is different.
What is the good one

Hello,
as i said yesterday, once multicast finished, i launched an unicast task on the 12 stations.
it worked fine. I thought 2 stations were failed but it was because of the limit of unicast clients (10)
Then where is it possible to change the limit of unicast ?
Fog Configuration => General settings => FOG_QUEUESIZE
or
Storage Management => Default Member => Max ClientsFor the multicast problem here is the result :
for 12 station
Multicast => 04:40:00
Unicast => 00:28:00Thanks for your help

I just made the test unicast (deploy and not multicast)
It’s a room with 12 stations.
2 stations failed
10 works fine (1.6 GB/min)
i’ll tell you more tomorrow -

i’ve got some problem with multicast.
I’m trying to deploy an image on 12 windows 7 stations. The stations are identicals. I didnt make any configuration in fog. Just configure manageable swith like that :

Timeout notAnswered=[0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11] notReady=[0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11] nrAns=0 nrRead=0 nrPart=12 avg=450And in the “task” bar 170MB/min
May be it could be a client which has problem. Is there a way to detect if there is a problematic client ?
Does someone could help me to solve this problem ?

I just made the test today with 6237 version. Same problem : partclone “tell” me that “This is not a partclone image”.
Do you think there is a solution to restore image from fog or do i have to reinstall the station ? -

I made the test with windows xp type on 6209 version : partclone “tell” me that “This is not a partclone image”.
Not the same error as yesterday with other version (6194) -
