@Joe-Schmitt said in Constant bandwidth suck:

Either re run your fog server installer or upgrade. The smart installer can’t be downloaded from your server. This means it wasn’t obtained properly when you last upgraded your server.

I moved .fogsettings to .fogsettings.old and ran the upgrade. Seems to have fixed all my remaining issues, including my broken replication. Thanks for that. I’ve been upgrading regularly for months now and I’m not sure now if it’s just coincidence that I moved .fogsettings and let it regenerate. In any case, looks like I’m back to normal here. Thanks again.

@Neil-Underwood DHCP Server if FOG is to be the dhcp server.

It defines the start and end range of DHCP.

Got it. So this does not apply to my setup then. Must have been defined a long time ago when I was playing with that. Thanks!

@giejo63 In other words, try to reinstall.

I’d really highly recommend using the -y argument so it auto-updates the DB for you. like this:

      ./installfog.sh -y

OK. That’s what I was afraid of. No big deal and life goes on. Strange that it didn’t take the settings though. Thanks

I finally got a chance to control the PC in question and it appears that the FOG service that was installed was the legacy service from the previous image. In addition, it wasn’t even running (or at least the tray icon wasn’t present. I uninstalled and installed the new client service and the errors went away. I am only left with this now:

[Wed Jul 15 20:58:32.249637 2015] [:error] [pid 23877] [client 192.168.0.236:49190] PHP Warning: mcrypt_decrypt(): Key of size 0 not supported by this algorithm. Only keys of sizes 16, 24 or 32 supported in /var/www/html/fog/lib/fog/FOGBase.class.php on line 241
