There are ways to define a standard start menu by exporting a sample one from a master image and then importing it into the target system. Y

I have recently been imaging a large number of computers the past few days and have started to notice that half of the FOG Clients are reporting back as “success” and the other half are stating “No such devices or address” when checking the hosts module in FOG. It doesn’t seem to be an issues considering I am able to Ghost the machine, reboot, and preform all normal tasks. So it hasn’t been affecting me in any way but they are not reportingcorrectly. I just wanted to know if there was a way to fix this? Or if I should be concerned at all? Thanks!
If I wanted to update an image on my FOG Server am I able to recapture over an old/existing image on the server? Or do I need to create a whole new image?

I am currently running FOG Version 1.4.4 and an using it to deploy Windows 10 to Target Machines. I was wondering if there is a way either with SYSPREP or possible a snapin script I can use to set default programs for users, as well as unpin programs from the start menu as this confuses users. I am able to do this for the local administrator account, but when a user logs in for the first time, and it downloads their user profile from the server it resets the default programs, and pins everything to the start menu. Any help?

Depending on your VM infrastructure, if you try to deploy more than 10 images from a single storage node at the same time you will run into VM resource constraints (i.e. network saturation, unable to move data fast enough from the vmdk file, and so on). If you need to deploy more than 5 systems simultaneously (via unicast) I might consider switching over to multicast deployments. With a multicast deployment only a single image is transmitted over your network for any number of clients at the same time.

I am currently running FOG in a VM on my workstation. As you can see in the photo posted above the “Storage Group Activity” shows that I can image up to 10 computers at a time, and then they will begin to go into a que. Is there any way to increase the number of computers I can image at once? If so how would I go about doing this? Any help?

So I was able to do a “Full disk Repair” and then use command line to shut down the system which seemed to fix the error I was having and am now doing a successful capture! Thank You!

before you mentioned hopefully this is in the right location. How do I check this?

@george1421 Okay I disabled fast shutdown in control panel and did a restart verses a shutdown. I will let you know if this fixed the issue

@Avaryan Do I have to runthe installer via command prompt? Or can I just double click and run the installer? Idk how to run the installer via command prompt?
